NAHANCO NTEZ Ez-Off Clothes Iron Cleaner

I love this stuff! Everyone in our house uses the iron so it gets dirty. The cleaning power is fast and easy. It works so well and helps keep the iron from getting build up on it from different material and sprays.

The sewer and quilter’s perennial friend, EZ-Off reliably removes melted fabric from irons in the quickest and most effortless way possible. It effectively restores iron surface back to its original shine. No scrubbing or scouring necessary.

I used this product on a new (less than a month old) iron that got residue from an inexpensive 100%wool pressing pad, also new. My iron setting must have been too hot for the wool. Pressing like that put lots of residue on the iron and it no longer glided for regular ironing. Also trying to press on the wool mat at a lower heat setting wouldn’t work, the iron just stuck. It took three applications of this product being rubbed on the iron to remove all the residue. Then I used a clean towel to wipe the rest of the product off the iron. The iron shines, and glides, like it did when I bought it. This is a great product and I will continue to keep it handy for occasional cleaning.

This is a huge tube for less than the small tube of another brand. Work so well!

The product works okay for removing dirt from the iron, but it creates a foggy steam in the room, so be prepared to open windows. Also, you’ll need extra towels because the gel leaks through, and you have to press the iron onto the towel with some physical effort. Not the most user-friendly experience.

Took some elbow grease, time and a magic eraser. But this stuff worked out Great.Bought my heat press off FB Marketplace. Had to do a massive cleaning on it. But it works and looks good now. .

I originally bought this product from a group selling it as a school fund raiser. Greatest iron clean product I have ever had. I squeeze about an inch long amount on to a wet wash cloth and then rub it on the sole of the iron. The iron is perfectly clean within less than 30 seconds. I have not found anything thus far it will not remove. I use the shot of steam feature on the iron to blow any residual product out of the steam holes. There is no doubt I will order this product in the future.

OK, as a hairdresser, I know I shouldn’t have let my curling irons get so caked with burned on product, but I did, and now I can’t find anything to remove it. This product is not advertised for that purpose, but another brand of iron cleaner usually works, and this price was much better, so I gave it a shot. Didn’t budge it at all. I haven’t tried it on an iron yet, but I’m a little skeptical that it would do a very good job on that either. Guess I’ll have to go back to the more expensive brand after all.
