Using this from 1 year may be, working fine and looks good as all stanleys does

While working the parting wheel got caught cutting the m.s sheet and after changing parting wheel when I turned the machine it start making different sound than usual as in old machine. I have used other brands but I never expected in this machine.

I own angle grinder from a different Brand, which is very thick & slippery with switch on back, which feels very dangerous. This Stanley angle grinder has slim & non slippery body, which feels safer to use. Switch is sturdy but little hard. Vibrations are minimal. Cord length is amazing. In future if I have to buy angle grinder again, it's definitely going to be Stanley. Hope Stanley will continue this Model with improvements.

I needed this for delicate jobs where accuracy is critical. This model fits the bill perfectly. My hand goes all around it so it is easy to hold and maneuver. It has more than enough power to handle even the toughest jobs. Vibrations are very low and the grip material is non-slippery even when the hands are sweating in this heat. I ran it continuously for half an hour with intermittent loading as needed for the job and it performed admirably. Got warm but not hot. The forced air circulation in the body is excellent.I love it. Highly recommended where accuracy and maneuverability is important.

SIR, THE CUTTING BLADE HOLDING NUTS ARE VERY VERY RUSTY. I HAVE NOT AT ALL EXPECTED THIS FROM YOUR FAMOUS CONCERN. REALLY DISAPPOINTED. This is a small angle grinder from Stanley which is among the top brands for power tools along with Bosch, Black & Decker etc; this is more for DIY than professional use. It appears to be a well built piece, and I received a brand new piece in the original packing. The delivery from the vendor was fast (next day).A few points about angle grinders: If used without observing proper safety precautions, it can be a dangerous tool. The first point is that it is for use on metal; it can be used with the appropriate blades for tiles, etc. But, it is NOT for wood; for wood use the circular saw. Don't ever make the mistake of fixing the circular saw blade on this tool. This could lead to serious injury!This tool must be used only with the guard attached. Use only the correct size disk (100 mm in this case). Don't try and use a larger disk keeping the guard off; you could lose your fingers!!. Definitely wear eye protection while using. If you observe these precautions, it can be a versatile tool. You can cut tiles in curves, etc.On the whole, a useful tool once you get the hang of using it (observing all safety precautions).
