This is a fantastic product. Easy to attach the sensor to your body i never felt anything as it went on. Easy clear instructions to set up and use. Once the app is downloaded its very self explanatory. This educated me so much on my eating habits. The foods that raised my glucose were surprising and not the foods i thought would do this. I have already implemented small changes to my diet that have made a difference to my glucose levels. The data stream is easy to see and understand on your phone. Its is so helpful to see the effect some foods can have on your body in real time. This sensor encouraged me to be a bit more active too. This sensor can be pricy but I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to instil changes to their wellbeing in relation to food/glucose levels. This is not just a gadget but a helpful tool designed to make you aware of your food/drink/exercise and how it impacts your body. It also gives helpful advice on changes and allows you to set goals if you wish.

I am somewhat disillusioned with the lingo sensor. The app after a few hours failed to register daily data/lingo score, and advised me that there was no data and that I should seek help which I did via the customer help. I waited for nearly 3 days and despite sending screen shots was repeatedly asked for answers to multiple questions about operating systems, reloading apps, having the latest updates etc. which was very frustrating.The ‘bot’ help is of little help and took my details - no one works over the weekend. I wasn’t advised of the possible things to try by the automated service and rather waited for days to receive a list of information to send them.While I realise, lingo don’t want to be posting out replacement sensors if they can avoid, it’s not great for the customer. I sent screen shots of the data not working, and was repeatedly asked about how I’d applied, if I’d rebooted, updated app, what phone operating system I was using- a big list.I have been unable to use the app for 5 days of the sensor and it’s frustrating.A replacement would be acceptable but I get the impression, that Abbot wants to avoid this option at all costs. It’s not a seamless or easy process.

It looks like the Freestyle Libre 2, its made by the same company but it is NOT a substitute for the Libre 2. What the description here doesn't say is what you see on the official website - "Lingo is not intended for the use in screening, diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, prevention, or monitoring of diseases, including diabetes."Sure the app looks good but it ONLY works on iOS. My Libre is faulty so I bought this as a temporary solution till my replacement arrives. This is not for diabetics to monitor their BG levels. The app does NOT have the alarm feature which is crucial for diabetics in case of hypos.This is for people who want to monitor their general health. It's easy enough to put on and doesn't really hurt if you place it in the recommended spot.

First application really was painless, I was actually quite surprised after noticing the size of the needle. I do think it would be good if they included an alcohol wipe as it says to use one in the application instructions. Luckily I did have one at home so could follow all the steps correctly. After applying the biosensor connecting to my phone was so easy. Once the app was installed and went through the initial questions I just had to tap my phone to the sensor and it connected instantly. It takes a hour to set up but you can get on with things and then come back to the app later.It was really interesting to see how my glucose levels changed throughout the day and how different things affected it. The options to add information like meals and exercise so you could see how those changed glucose levels was also quite brilliant. And the addition of challenges was a great way to encourage healthy habits.Most of the time I completely forgot I was even wearing the sensor but unfortunately after 5 days I caught it quite roughly on a doorframe and the sensor ripped half off. The needle dislodged so I was unable to stick it back down and had to completely remove. The other half was still stuck quite well so I’m sure would have stayed put with no problem if I hadn’t caught it.I got in touch with support and they sent out a replacement straight away and it arrived the next working day. This time when I I applied the sensor it hurt a little and it appeared to bleed slightly. It wasn’t as comfortable as where I had applied the first sensor and ached like it was bruised occasionally if I leant on it. After a few days this calmed down and was much better. I think with practice you would know the best spots to apply.Although this does appear to be quite expensive I think this is a pretty useful device. The fact that it continuously updates is quite fantastic. And for those wanting to monitor and improve their health it may be worth the price.Tried for free #hometesterclub

Whilst not Diabetic, I was interested to evaluate the product and get some feedback on my blood sugar levels. The product is very simple to fit (pain free) and mine functioned perfectly for the indicated 14 day period. App gives some handy hints and routines to support control. Worked well.

THIS PRODUCT FAILED NOT JUST ONCE, FOR WHICH I RECEIVED A REFUND, BUT THE REPLACEMENT STOPPED WORKING ON DAY TWO. THE PRODUCT WAS RETURNED ,WITH THE BOX BUT THE APPLICATOR PART HAD BEEN RECYCLED . MY REFUND WAS DENIED. update it appears my refund is on its way 🥳
