I have always used the original and love that smell. This has a fragrence that is okay but I don't like it. My bathroom doesn't smell fresh, it smells like chemicals. The performance is good although this one doesnt foam as much as the original. Both do the job well and at the end of the day that is what matters. Smells are a personal preferrance and what I like or don't like is unique to me.My taps forever get limescale and this blasts right through it. The boys also keep wrapping the plug chain around ine of the taps which cuaes a reaction with repetatively getting wet and never drying out. It also blasts right through that, leaving the sink and taps like new. I have an old sink from the 60's, so for that to look like new is amazing. Taps are modern levers and often get hard to turn on/off due to limescale build up from constant splashing and this gets them moving freely again.I think I would rather pay the extra for the original rather than frabreeze fresh next time but I haven't inconvenienced myself much with this scent as it isn't too strong or overpowering in the amounts needed when used.
