The box does not say how much of each magnesium type it contains. I've only taken it three times - near bedtime.It certainly has kept my bowel movements regular but I'm only taking one capsule initially instead of the full dose of two.The other benefits have not been to noticeable yet but I do believe there is a subtle difference in my anxiety levels and I feel more relaxed.I'm looking forward to more improvement as I think this is a good supplement. I should really take the full dose to see the other benefits, especially improvement in blood pressure and blood glucose levels - but I must be wary of loose tools. So I need to eat things which are good for me but I tend to avoid because they give me constipation!

Firstly always do your own research and I'm no expert so these are just my opinions. Have been using Magnesium for a while now and do have a favourite brand - however was given the opportunity to try these. The key differences I see with this product compared to my other one are:-1- Not clear on the split of types of magnesium being used.2- The use of Brown Rice Flour in this product, is this a bulking agent?3- After two tablets this is 64% NRV.4- Higher price than the brand I've been usingThese are my reasons then for marking the product as 3 stars.

The supplements market is awash with new brands, it seems, which makes it hard to know if you're dealing with a company you can trust to not be selling you capsules full of dust they swept up off the floor or whatever.With Ancient & Brave I was first attracted by the packaging; gotta say, they've absolutely nailed it on that front. Speaking as someone from an ad-agency background, their branding is very much on point and, yes, you will be paying a premium for that. The packaging graphics, the glass jars...very lovely and designed to appeal to folks who are looking to support their health in the most natural way possible, and who have the cash to do it.So much for the fancy outerwear. Now let's talk about what's under the hood. True Magnesium? Interesting name. But since I'm a subscriber of YouTube's York Cardiologist Dr Gupta's channel, and I've watched his video aaaaall about magnesium types, it seems Ancient & Brave aren't trying to pull the wool over my eyes with their fancy schmancy title. They've used three types of magnesium that are most easily absorbed by our bodies. So, props for that. I've been taking magnesium taurate ever since I watched Dr Gupta's vid, so I'm interested to see how this Mg combo fares in the longer term. I'm very much willing to give it a go, given that it's a well researched formulation that doesn't contain the useless magnesium oxide you can pick up any old where for cheap as chips.As you can tell from the beautiful packaging, their angle is very much hinged upon daily rituals. But looking at their company ethos, and comparing prices to other quality magnesium supplements, I don't think it's just the packaging you're paying for. Yes, yes, of course it is, but I think the actual products are good too.

After a visit to my local pharmacy I was advised not to take these tablets without consulting my G.P. As I am on blood pressure tablets and they can affect them. Nowhere on advert was this mentioned and am now left with a product that I cannot use.
