good weight but illegal to take outdoors
excellent weight and function, every tool seems to be perfectly designed, ill be using this on my next deployment.just be aware for normal use these have a locking blade so are illegal for normal use in the UK without an explicit reason for use.if they made these with slip joints and a blade under 3 inches they would make an absolute killing on the "safe for UK market"

Perfect tool for outdoor trips.
Bought as a gift for my son. IMO better than my Leatherman Blast.

Excellent but check before you throw away the box!
Really, time has caught up with mega/expensive multi tools like Leatherman.Once, you had to fork out £100+ for a decent, robust unit but other, less well known brands, are beginning to impinge on this territory at a third or quarter of the price. Truth is, whether you buy an expensive famous brand (except Victorinox) or this cheapish B/Bury, the item will be be made in China in factories very similar to each other so MOST of the time the quality will not be vastly different. This particular tool is solid, good in the hand and looked functional in virtually all aspects advertised but, after having thrown away the box and actually looking properly, I noticed the awl blade had a split at the sharp end. Had the split been in a more important part, I would have probably still tried to get a replacement but with the awl, it is easy enough to file or Dremel the end to a sharp point again so I didn’t bother.I’m pretty certain that most of these units will be fine and I would have given 5 stars but I deducted a star for the poor quality control that let through such an obvious flaw.Edit: I just wanted to give a shout out to Bibury for excellent customer service.Separately, I had bought another of their smaller multitools but it was missing scalpel blades. Contacted Bibury and they sent replacement blades and also gifted me another small (completely different) tool of theirs for free which I had not seen before along with blades for that!.So, even though I can’t up the rating to 5* (as reviews have to refer to the item in question), I can say they deserve it as they are the type of company who are keen to sort problems out (as opposed to others I have encountered who don’t even respond) and probably would have replaced this product if I had bothered contacting them about it.

Came up Best, Comparing to another brand costing £160!!!
Excellent value for money. My son purchased a £160 multi tool, almost identical, accept mine is larger and had 5 extra features that my son would have to pay extra for.Extremely happy with purchase & would highly recommend.

Excellent practical multitool.
Excellent build quality. I used to have an extremely expensive multitool/knife. This is just as good.

Serrated knife.
Overall I have found the quality of Bibury multitools improving. This is now my 4th tool. Each one has had good, strong usable features that are easy to use/ deploy and have a good strong locking mechanism. So why oh why on this multitool have they given the user 2 loose saw blades that interchange with the file.(useful)Plus there is also a fixed saw blade. So you now have 2 saws. 3 blades. All of which are short but usable on wood only. I know the adage one is none. Two is one but both saws are robust enough that only one is needed freeing up space for other useful tools. So why on this tool is a serrated edged knife thought to of been a good option. I personally have never been a fan of serrated blades. This confirms why I have no use for serrated edged blades. These multitools are not yet sector leading. But they are getting there. Quality ×value for money =Bibury
