Now that’s GOOD!
I don’t normally give reviews on hallmark movies, they’re very predictable, and sappy, but sometimes in life you need those kinds of movies just to decompress from crazy life things. BUT! I was very excited to watch Guiding Emily. I felt like the storyline dug in to a different place that Halmark hasn’t been known for that I’ve ever recognized. Following Emily through a very difficult life change that came from an accident, and seeing how Halmark shared real life emotional challenges that she went through, and the second storyline of how seeing eye dogs are picked, trained, and utilized with a partner, was exciting to watch. The other movie on there called The More Love Grows, was also very well presented. Although they did not show Helen as falling into a pit of despair when her husband says he’s leaving her, I think they showed her emotion more as shock. I can relate. I think too many movies show women laying around in their pajamas, sobbing, eating junk food, and then dressing up to go out to bars with her girlfriends. That’s not reality for everybody. And I think it’s very limited when that’s all we see.I enjoyed watching that she did not jump right back into another relationship, and was encouraged to see how they showed that Helen was learning all about Helen, the woman, the artist, the girlfriend, the person. The third movie in the pack called Everything Puppies, was cute. Had a very good storyline, it’s fun to see movies about entrepreneurs starting out, but I think whoever directed it missed the boat on the depth of what that movie could’ve been. Not terrible, I will watch it again, but the other two movies in the pack were fabulous!

ALL THREE MOVIES ARE TOP NOTCH! WONDERFUL ACTORS!
This set is SO worth it! All three movies are just the best in Hallmark entertainment. Our favorite is "Guiding Emily" - so realistic and blindness could happen to any of us for a number of reasons. How one handles adversity and overcomes obstacles in life with the help of friends is important. The dialogue and "voice" of the guide dog is precious."Everything Puppies" is just adorable! She is an entrepreneur and it was interesting to see how she went about getting her product out there. Great chemistry with the leads!"The More Love Grows" has great chemistry as well. Fine acting and we have always enjoyed Amy Aker as a lead. Very well done on the storyline.Subtitles! Not that we thought they were needed but nice to have. Highly recommend this set.Great job Hallmark!
