Plumber reccomended enzyme drain cleaner after an emergency call out. Seems to keep kitchen sinks drains clear, but does not work on girlfriend's shower hairballs.

Had a drain that had a major grease blockage, plumbing business couldn't even get it cleared, talk about having to replace drain pipe. Luckily I got it unclogged myself but it always had a smell coming from it afterwards. Tried the Green Gobbler and it's been gone ever since. Wish I knew about this product when I had the clog, might have save me money and a stained ceiling from the plumber spilling water under the sink and into the downstairs bedroom

I bought this product because it's marketed as using natural enzymes to clean and maintain pipes, which I liked in theory. The reason I titled my review “Gobble Gobble Scrum and Rum” is because—while it does work—it only works if your pipes are already fairly clean.If you’ve already got a build-up or smell, this won’t magically fix it. It’s not going to "eat the grease" or clear out years of gunk anytime soon. Realistically, if your drains are already slow or smelly, you’ll need a professional plumber first. Then, maybe use this as a maintenance product after that.Bottom line: Don’t expect miracles. It’s a slow helper, not a heavy-duty fix. Just facts.

I bought this product to clear a stubborn sink drain. It worked ok and cleared the drain a bit. But I eventually placed washer cleaning tabs from the same brand in the same drain and feel they worked much better to solve my drain issues.
