Good and Sturdy, But Watch Out for the Sharp Bit!
The Munchkin Lindam Sure Shut stair gate is overall a solid and reliable product. It feels sturdy once fitted, and the gate mechanism is smooth and secure. Great for keeping little ones (or pets!) safely contained, and the design blends in nicely with most interiors.However, there’s a design flaw worth mentioning – one side of the gate has an angled plastic protrusion that sticks out awkwardly. It’s very easy to catch your thigh on it, especially if you're walking through in a hurry or wearing shorts – and when you do, it really does hurt!It’s a shame, because otherwise it’s a great gate. Just be aware of that angled edge – I’ve started warning guests about it too!

Overall great item
It’s rather easy to adjust and feels sturdy to use. Overall it feels like it will keep my child safe from the stairs. The white colour makes it easy to wipe down and clean.
