Q: Is this safe for dark blue colored plaster pool? I have well water. All balanced but worried it could damage darker plaster.

Not sure we have a liner and it works beautifully.

swimtrine always worked for me.

Q: Local pool guy said use half bottle directly in pool for mustard algae and 2 oz per week after for maintenance. Yes or dilute? 😊

It depends on the size of the pool. 3 oz of Swimtrine per 10,000 gallons of pool water initially (if algae is visible) , then 1.5 oz/10,000 gallons every 2 weeks for ongoing prevention. What was recommended to you may be overkill.

Q: I have been using silvertrine in my pool and want to switch to swimtrine. Will there be a bad reaction (such as staining) if I switch?

We have used swimtrine plus for several years. It has not stained our liner. Don’t know about using with silvertrine.
