Works great!
Seems to be well built. It does not seem to be damped, so it responds to rapid fluctuations in pressure, which I think is OK for my application but might not be for all. The window is hard plastic which might get cloudy over time if used in a dusty environment where it has to be wiped off often. The plastic window might also be a concern if used around solvents such as acetone, toluene, laquor thinner, or MEK. For my application I think this gauge will be fine. The price is certainly reasonable amd I'm quite happy with it so far.

Good price, decent quality
I use gas gauges several times a week on the job. I had two, I've had for about 20 years, and they both fell apart within a week of each other. Those gauges were part of those small kits you buy, that are basically a gauge, fittings, and a hose, in a small plastic case preformed to hold the items. Time will tell on the endurance of these two gauges, but have to say the metal shell is more substantial/sturdier than the "kit" ones, and I purchased two of these gauges for less than one of those "kits" typically sell for.I plan on getting some small cases and foam-line them with cutout reliefs for the hose/gauge/fittings.These gauges are also way easier to re-calibrate if necessary, with a front-access adjusting screw underneath the bezel in an opening on the gauge face. You can check accuracy with a water manometer-with gauge on one end of the hose, and apply some gentle pressure on the other side, with a valve or some such way to seal it off. Measure your water, and check the gauge reading.I'm going to guess there may not be much need for re-calibration. Even the old ones I had, with all the beating they took, never lost accuracy over the years.ps.. I also picked up two brass fitting adapters-- 1/4" NPT female-to-1/4" hose barb to put on the gauge input.
