I've had this since mid March and wanted to give an honest review.Once upon a time there was a family with two dogs, one a 6 y old GSD and the other a 3 yr old lab. These babies created several situations:1. The GSD barks at all the dragons passing outside the living room window, the lab joins in with a very loud howl. When they are really amped up, it is impossible to hear yourself think. Coaxing with attention or treats has not been effective.2. When the neighbors dog is outside the GSD decides it's time for cardio and runs and barks up and down that side of the fence (there is no longer any grass there). The GSD simply looks at me when called, I can hear her saying 'I'm having fun here, later for you' and continues running and barking until her tongue is hanging out. Years of trying to get her to stop this has not stopped the behavior.3. The GSD LOVES car rides but, barks at people walking on the sidewalk and at anyone who looks at her, she lives by Stranger = Danger policy. Again the Lab being a good brother joins her with the howling, imagine driving with that song being sung at full volume in your ear.After trying various ways to stop these behaviors I decided to try this. I've used the 'silent' sound to stop them from barking at the dragons passing our house or delivering packages, they are getting better with just a shhhh. The GSD will stop running and barking at the neighbors dog and come into the house when called with this device. And... we're still working on the singing in the car.I really love this training aid. It is lightweight and is not too big for my small hands. The two modes are nice to have. The beeping works for the GSD but not the LAB, the ultrasonic mode works for both. We take this on walks and the flashlight is nice to have for our night time walks. 10+ points for the USB-C charging. I've only charged it once since getting it so battery life seems great. Overall this is a great addition to the various tools, devices and training aids to help keep the dogs attentive when needed. Would highly recommend.

its working good and keeps the dogs from barking

I have a now 5 month old puppy who’s very high energy. And a 14 year old Boston terrier that’s much smaller than the five month old mix breed puppy. My Boston terrier has lost most of her sight and hearing as well. My puppy was 10 weeks old when I got her for Christmas and she was big then. Had no training whatsoever. So when I brought her home on Christmas Day, she thought my Boston terrier was a toy and tried her best to dominate her. I stayed so tired all the time because I was trying to keep them separate and keep things peaceful. But I had no peace And it was running me downhill. Until I saw this video online, which changed my life. And I found this ultrasonic whistle on Amazon and it has made a huge difference as far as my dogs are concerned, and I’m not nearly as tired as I used to be . I’m an older woman at 66 years old trying to raise a puppy is a difficult thing to do and that’s the last dog I’ll ever have. I’ll be too old to try another one so she’s the last one I’ll have and makes her so special to me . She’s absolutely beautiful solid black, except for beard which she gets from her father a goldendoodle and has lots of hair, curly wavy beautiful black hair with one white spot in her beard and on her chest. She’s a beautiful dog that can be so nerve-racking at times you want to pull your hair out. But in the same sentence, you love them more than anything. I love both of them and the Boston terrier I have raised since she was a baby. I am so thankful to have this ultrasonic whistle, and I would highly recommend it to anyone having problems with their pets. It works I mean it really works!!

Pretty sure mine was faulty and wouldn't turn off - don't know for sure since I can't actually hear it...My dog is almost 7 months old - lab - and she DEFINITELY heard it... I did it literally ONE time, then turned it off. She is terrified of the area I used it in now. She's been hiding in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom crying for the last hour and, needless to say I will not be using it again and returning it.She hates firealarms like most dogs but get's over the sound pretty quickly but doesn't act this way...Finally, I just unscrewed the whole thing and pulled the battery out and she stopped whining. Seems like despite it showing as "off" it was indeed, not off and still emitting sound.

Nice, easy to use unit. Rechargeable. Only dislike is that it doesn't appear to be very effective on my 8mo old chi. She does recognize when I activate it but doesn't seem to become irratated by the utra-sound. I will continue to use as her hearing develops over next couple of months. Updates to follow.
