I was looking at this product and trying to decide whether I should save the money and purchase this, or spend the extra and get the brand name (puqpress). I am so happy I went with this product and saved the money. This works so good. I haven’t had any issues with it. I use it every day and even use it for entertaining when I’m making drinks back to back. It keeps up no problem, does exactly what it says it will do and really saves my wrist. I highly recommend this. If you are on the fence thinking, “do I really need an automatic tamper when I can just tamp manually”, the answer is YES! It actually made my shots taste better too because I could set it to tamp at a higher pressure than I would ever have the strength to do manually. My shots come out much richer tasting as a result. Best purchase!

My issue was that my tamping pressure / style changed with my moods; which change a lot. Anyways, this solved all that with a consistent tamp every time. It seems solid and well built, and is very easy to use. I did find the set up instructions a little tricky to follow but once I got it going, all was good.

I thought this would be too good to be true but it isn’t. It works splendidly. Consistent ramp every time. Paired with a Eureka Libra, I’m making a latte in record time in the mornings. No more tamping mat or tamper or leveler. This makes the workspace so much cleaner. Just make sure you set the bottom supporting forks level for a level tamp

I first used this tamper on Christmas Day, 2023. It is 1 month later and the rubber coverings on the guide rails are wearing out. I use a Breville naked portafilter 58mm with a vst basket. I use 18 grams of coffee. I would recommend spending a little extra money and getting a better made machine. I will probably need to plunk down more money and upgrade but my bad. I know you get what you pay for and this was the least expensive tamper on Amazon.

I bought this with low expectations, as it is the cheapest alternative to much more expensive name brands. We have been using this heavily on a daily basis in our coffee shop for a few months and it is a champ. Seems to be a good buy so far.

I needed something to help with my baristas tamping to a consistent pound range. This works great so far.

It work well and consistent. 1 star deducted due slightly off level.Updated my reviewed 5 start. user error on why slightly off level. I have to raise the bottom higher to have it tight fit so the top of the portafilter stay flat and doesn't move too much.
