While nighttime may be the ideal time to use this my lips were pretty parched and dry today and the weather being so hot has not helped me stay hydrated. So I drank a lot of water and put on this lip treatment. I noticed no matter how much I sipped on water, this lip product stayed put. I only had to apply it like twice today and I ate after applying it too. It seems to stay on better than a regular lip balm.You might also enjoy the nice minty tingle. While this is unscented and has no flavor it has a little peppermint in it for sure. You might like how nourished and calm your lips feel. It is like super hydration and protection. I'll try other treatments like this from Burt's Bees again. They know their lip products!So if you wake up in the middle of the night with dry lips this might help. If you don't feel like spending 2 or 3 times as much, this lip treatment is a great alternative. My lips get very dry overnight and now they are *never* crispy in the morning. Nice creamy texture. I do managed to chew it off overnight, but it's also good for daytime use.Edited:Now that I've been using this overnight treatment for a couple of months, I tried Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask, which is heavier, longer lasting and very glossy. (It's also much more expensive. The Burt's Bees overnight is very soft and smooth, but it doesn't last all night. The sweet spot is to use Burt's on my bare lips with Laniege over it. Wonderful together. This product is so soothing that I also use it during the day, but it is balm, not a gloss.

I absolutely love Burts Bees products! This overnight moisturizing lip product is magnificent. It goes on smoothly and my lips feel wonderful the next morning. I was hesitant to purchase something with a flavor but I cannot taste the passion fruit at all which is what I prefer. I bought one to test it out and was so thrilled with it that I purchased several more to stock up on while the price was very low and a great bargain.

okay so i NEVER write reviews but ive been suffering from a very dry and cracked bottom lip for a good while now, and as someone who likes to wear lipliner and lipstick everyday, i kept noticing the cracks on my lip and the dryness and nothing solved it. i drink more water than is recommended for my weight/height, i use chapstick (some say cutting that out could help but i haven’t done so), my vitamin b and d, etc are all at good levels, and even then my lip is still cracked and dry. i’ve had this product for months and used it here and there but last night, i realized i wasn’t putting enough. so i applied a lot of it and its the next morning and i already see a major difference! my lips are so soft and the lines and cracks are very subtle. i can only imagine me continuing to use it will only make it better. thank goodness i gave it another try :) so excited to feel confident with my lipstick on

I like the original formula of the overnight intensive lip treatment with *natural ceramides* better than this passion fruit and chamomile formula. Tho It smells nice, it is not as creamy as the original. I will not order it again.

I have tried numerous lip treatments but this is the best I have found! Worked wonders for my extremely dry chapped lips. I will never use anything else.
