Simple and functional and worth the price

It does work
It does read voltage but the display is so dim that it almost unreadable in sunlight...when the panel is operating. I am surprised that it works at all because my experience with MPPT controllers is that there is no readout unless the controller/panel is connected to the battery.

It works.
You cant see the voltages until you attach the cables to the batteries then it lights up. Works on 6 and 12 volts but I'm sure it will work for 8 volts as well. It shows you the actual voltage on each batteries.

NO LCD Display!!!
The unit I received did NOT have a LCD Display. The front and back of the box are both the same and say: Voltage Tester, Voltage Range: 5V-60V.Not much use if there is NO LCD Display. I chose to forfeit the cost of this item instead of returning the item. I am 80 year old and I don't feel it's worth my time and gas driving this item to a drop off store.
