it seemed great deal for dropdown rest but after several hours attempting to set it and contacting seller i just gave up. first issue is the plastic clamp to hold the rope or cord from rest to control cables in bow, the plastic clamp has two identical grooves to clamp on cord abd cable, control cable is fine but their included cord is too thin and just slides , i dont know how other users managed to hold this cord perhaps trying a knot or trying into control cable directly? in my case, my sanlida bow has control cables very close so i need it to clamp it way down , so no cord left to do any tying etc but just clamp it but clamp doesnt work.the second and more important issue is machining or forging issue in metal piece, no matter how tight is the allen bolt, the horizontal alignment bar woobles back and forth a shown with arrows in photo . so even if i managed to hold the cord to control cable, the rest moves back and forth causing the arrow to move slightly all over the place. seller doesnt acknowledge so it seems qc or tolerances are the issue, you might get a good piece or bad luck like me and bad piece but i am pretty sure all plastic clamps are the same so impossible to hold the included cord in your control cable

Honestly I think this might have been one of my best purchases in hunting. For starters, its at least a quarter the price of others out there. I really like how easy it was to install with the help of a YouTube video and was able to sight it in in a jiffy. Great product and is very well made. Made huge improvements coming from a whisker basket to this.

I brought my bow to my friends shop to have this rest proffesionally installed which they did. My problem is that after succesfully shooting my bow with this rest for only about 30 arrows, the pull down string is breaking apart. I brought it back to the shop to ask maybe the tension was too tight but it isnt. It actually loose than what it should be. I wish this rest wouldve lasted me longer since i do like how my accuracy improved and how great my arrow fletchings are being preserved.

Those who had poor ratings need to learn how to install it. There are plenty of YouTube videos that show you step-by-step how to install the cable buckle. Once you set the elevation and windage and tune it it is as good as my $200 brand name drop rest. I like it better. I was looking at the SPG drop with micro tuning but thought why? For my site, sure! This one does it. What more do you want? Happy trails!
