The arm is terrific. I've been testing it at the gym, and have had no complaints with the clamping ability. The rubber on the clamp can leave a mark on some surfaces though, so take care before attaching to rough wooden surfaces. On metal, there's no issue, and almost every machine at the gym has a reasonably sized place to attach it. The only thing that'd make it better would be if it had both the clamp attachment and a magnetic one, so you can easily move it between places. The arm does get pretty rigid, and I haven't had problems holding onto it.The phone holder isn't the best I've used, but neither is it anywhere close to the worst either. It's spring loaded, and it's just barely able to fit the thick Pelican case I keep my iPhone in. Overall, I like it.

I needed better positioning for my webcam.I’ve grown a bit skeptical of third party sellers for tech accessories, and felt like I took a risk with this “super magic arm” as it says on the box.My gamble paid off. It was exactly what I needed and better than I expected.Comes preassembled. Good quality for the price point. Took less than 10 minutes to unbox, clamp to desk, adjust arm to my need and mount camera. I did need to use a velcro tiestrap to mount my particular camera properly.As an aside, this arrived at my door in less than 12 hours after ordering, not so relevant to the review but a nice bonus.

I don’t have the right angle vent clips for a phone holder. This thing attaches to my console where the cup holders are. Anyway….My magic arm itself holds great except at one joint near the bottom where no amount of tightening will get it to totally stay (it has maybe 20 degrees it will “swing” but you have to knock or push it with some force). It took some time for this to become a problem at all so all the joints at the beginning were tight and may wear a bit. Mine stays locked in the same position but the point is you can take it and attach it to anything you like and re-orient it to fit whatever you need! Maybe better than a tripod? Could be good for streaming.

The media could not be loaded. I use it fur tik tok lives while tattooing and it works perfect for that

This arm was easy to install and very well made, plus it is infinitely adjustable, suited my application well

I love this, Magic Arm. I only have 2 complaints. 1. I ordered the 43 in Arm. 2. This did not come with any phone holder.Although, I did not recieve what I ordered. I am very impressed by it and will be buying the correct size. I would most definately buy this and recommend it. Great articulating arm.
