They're toothpicks, what else is there to say? Only complaint - they tend to splinter, they tips are too thin.

I regret I assumed that the ad claiming these were wood meant they were Birch, and most toothpicks in the US seem to be. These are made instead from bamboo. Being a toothpick user for 50 years, I'm used to the mouth feel and other characteristics of "normal" toothpicks. These toothpicks are needle sharp and would too easily puncture gum tissue. Secondly, they fail to soften after a while, which is an important aspect of Birch toothpicks. That frayed end is then a dental tool for further cleaning the teeth at the gumline.

Very disappointed to find they are made in China. Product returned.
