Trusted Brand, Quality Supplement, LARGE Pill
This supplement is great, overall. Natures Plus is a trusted brand that I've used for years, so I don't feel nervous about ingredient sourcing or whether the label is true. I like that this is both maximum potency AND sustained release: this means that I don't have digestive discomfort taking this large supply. I appreciate the immune support during these winter months and take this if I am around someone who might be under the weather. It seems to digest well in my sensitive stomach, and I'm glad it's made with rose hips. I'm also grateful that this supplement is labeled vegetarian, and since it is free from milk and eggs it is vegan as well. For all these things I'd give it 5 stars, except for one hard part. The one negative: this pill is very large. As you can see from my photo it is a hard oval tablet that's double the thickness of most hard tablets this size. If you don't have a problem swallowing large pills this shouldn't be a deterrant. If you DO have a hard time, then this isn't the supplement for you. I can gag on pills at times, and though I haven't yet gagged taking this, I've had to be very careful. I also take with a spoonful of applesauce or yogurt so that it will go down smoothly. (Pro tip, ha ha!) If you tried to cut it in half it would still be the same thickness, and probably wouldn't have the sustained release feature that is an important part of this 2000 mg supplement. I wish this supplement could be divided into two tablets, but it is most likely one because of the sustained release feature. SO, I'm happily taking this and would consider ordering it again as too much Vitamin C all at once can make my system unhappy. So yes, I would recommend this supplement.

A little too large. Hard to swallow.
So far, these Vitamin C tablets have been keeping me healthy this season. I haven't gotten sick or a cold yet. The only thing that I don't like about them is that they are really large and hard to swallow. My husband won't take them anymore because he choked on one. They are too big for him. We probably won't order them again. I also prefer a Liposomal Vitamin C.

Natures Plus Ultra C with Rose Hips: A High-Potency, Sustained Release Vitamin C Supplement
Vitamin C Benefits:Vitamin C is a well-known nutrient with a broad range of health benefits. It plays a critical role in immune function, protecting against oxidative stress through its antioxidant properties. It’s also involved in collagen synthesis, which supports the skin, blood vessels, and bones. For individuals seeking a powerful immune boost or who are exposed to stress or environmental pollutants, a high-potency Vitamin C supplement like this one can be beneficial.Rose Hips:Rose hips are a rich source of Vitamin C as well as other antioxidants, including flavonoids and carotenoids. These compounds may enhance Vitamin C’s overall benefits, including reducing inflammation and supporting skin health. Rose hips also contribute to the bioavailability of Vitamin C, which may improve absorption.Sustained Release Mechanism:The sustained-release formulation is particularly advantageous for those seeking a gradual, consistent supply of Vitamin C throughout the day. This delivery method is designed to maintain stable blood levels of the nutrient, which may be more effective for long-term support compared to single-dose supplements. It also reduces the potential for digestive discomfort, which can occasionally occur with high-dose Vitamin C taken all at once.Price and AffordabilityAt $29.80 for 90 tablets, this supplement offers a reasonable price for its potency and the 90 servings included in each bottle. At around $0.33 per serving, it’s fairly priced compared to similar high-potency Vitamin C supplements, particularly considering the added benefits of rose hips and the sustained-release formula. If you're looking for a cost-effective daily immune support solution, this product provides good value for the price.Vegan and Allergen-FreeYes, Natures Plus Ultra C with Rose Hips is vegan, vegetarian, and free from gluten, artificial colors, and preservatives, which is important for plant-based consumers and those with dietary restrictions. Additionally, it’s free from common allergens like soy, milk, wheat, corn, and yeast, making it accessible to a wide range of individuals with specific dietary needs.Packaging ConcernsNatures Plus notes that they are transitioning to a new packaging design, but this does not affect the quality or freshness of the product. This might be a slight inconvenience for customers expecting consistency in packaging, but it’s unlikely to impact the supplement’s efficacy. The change in design may be more about branding than product functionality, so it’s not a major concern.A Mild Recommendation for WFPB AdvocacyAs with any supplement, it’s essential to emphasize that vitamin and mineral supplements should complement, not replace, a whole-foods plant-based (WFPB) diet. I always advocate for a diet rich in plant-based, whole foods combined with regular exercise, proper hydration, and clean living habits—avoiding smoking, alcohol, and drugs. Supplements like this one can support a healthy lifestyle, but they are most effective when used alongside these broader health practices.Final ThoughtsNatures Plus Ultra C with Rose Hips offers a potent, high-quality Vitamin C supplement with the added benefits of rose hips and a sustained-release delivery system. It’s ideal for those seeking reliable immune support, antioxidant protection, and collagen maintenance. The price is reasonable, and the product is free from common allergens, making it a great choice for a wide range of consumers.Would I recommend it? Yes, especially for those looking for an effective, long-term Vitamin C supplement that aligns with a plant-based lifestyle. As always, remember to consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice, especially if you have specific health concerns or are taking other medications.

Pretty large pills, but only one per serving
These are large. If you have trouble with pills, these might be too much. They work ok for me though. The serving size is one and the dosage is higher than most. So it's an easy way to get a lot of vitamin C

Vitamin C
I’ve been using these Vitamin C tablets for a while, and they really seem to work. The 2000 mg dose is great for boosting my immune system and keeping me healthy. I like that it’s free from gluten and other allergens, which is good for my sensitive stomach. The sustained release means I don’t get a sudden burst and can feel the effects throughout the day. The only downside is that the tablets are a little big, so it takes a bit of effort to swallow them. Other than that, they’re really effective!

Mega Amount of Vitamin C
I like that these are loaded with vitamin C which I take for my immune system. I usually take one a day for a few days and then take a break because of the super high dosage. These are huge pills and I suggest not combining them with other pills in one swallow due to it's size and shape. I feel like they are potent and really absorb in your system at a steady pace. Don't let the size scare you, they are still easy to take and swallow.
