Baught the refurb by accident. Came brand new, new pads csnt even tell its a refurb. Spent half the money.

The product failed from time to time locking up during work. It also will not work when used with a KVM (tried two). I generally do not purchase refurbished peripherals and I did not notice this was "renewed". So, where is the quality control on refurbished items.

The mouse itself is quite good, although a bit loud. However, the interior was not cleaned and was full of hair, dust, and mystery orange goop. Additionally, the scratched-up friction pads were not replaced. The condition of the mouse was what I would have expected if I had purchased it used, not refurbished. I had to disassemble it and thoroughly clean it, and it is now in good working order. However, this should have been part of the refurbishment process. Otherwise, what am I paying extra over the used price for? The only component that was actually like new was the cable. Heed my advice and browse Ebay instead.
