This is for self teaching, or to start playing the instrument at a entry level. Adults and maybe some kids 5 + need to able to read and understand the basics of music reading. Is entry level but it would be so much better to couple it up with videos or an actual teacher. Then it would be extra practice.

Easy to follow & understand, especially for a beginner.

pretty good on basics. but the text print is annoyingly faint and small. there is lots of room on the pages so there is no excuse.

This looks like a good instruction book for learning how to play the bass guitar. It was a gift purchase.

This book has everything that I need in order to become a good bass player. I love that they go in great details the chorde and their finger positions and everything else that is needed.
