100% worth it. Works wonders. Super quiet and love the clean design. The size is perfect for smaller spaces and shuts off when full so you can forget about it and not worry. It’s quiet, noise is like soft white noise humming I find quite calming. It works 100x better than damp rid that’s for sure!! Needs to be dumped after about 10 days I’d say. Exactly what I was looking for In every way to remove moisture from a large walk in closet. I’ve owned 2 years now and never had an issue. Shocked to see any bad reviews- not one bad thing to say about my experience!! I have an outlet in my closet so couldn’t have asked for a better product that fit my my needs, cost effective (I’ve probably spent hundreds on damp rid over time), and no gross chemicals - I couldn’t stand the smell of damp and it causes a lot of waste. It’s works so good, even my hair is less frizzy. When I moved to the beach in SoCal to my horror one “wetter” year humidity was higher than Minneapolis, not kidding. One day discovered all my expensive heels and even some walls in my closet were covered in mold.. I had never experienced anything like it. Happy to report since this purchase never happened again, my clothes are more fresh, and I can smell/feel/see the difference it has made. So grateful.

We have a historical home and have not made update to add ceiling fans in bathrooms. This is discreet looking, and does the job very well! So well that I purchased another for second bathroom a year after the first! Very accurate description and easy to use.

BEHOLD my first ever Amazon review.. Usually I could care less about reviewing a product that I buy from Amazon but the PureGuardian Dehumidifier got my attention so I shall pay it forward. I'll give it one star because it seriously worked for ONE DAY. It worked and worked well the first day! I used it as soon as I got in in the mail and within 2 hours their was water in the reservoir and all was well in "The Amazon." HOWEVER the next day nothing was picked up, I moved in the living room left it on for 4 hours, checked it again.. NOTHING. Finally used it in the bathroom after a hot shower and yet again... NADA. This product is very loud (it sounds like a turbine engine) and it's green light is so bright one evening I woke up to a thought that maybe I was waking up in disorientation because a green hue illuminated a room so bright I had a quick panic that maybe I was going to be victim of an alien abduction scene off a cheesy Hollywood movie. I wanted something to moderately quiet to put in my closet but my neighbors probably thought I ran a hair salon because it's sound is the equivalent of a hair dryer on full blast. I wish I never made this purchase and I knew it was a sketchy buy when I watched the product review on HSN youtube and the lady host asked the other lady introducing the product if the water accumulated in the reservoir was from the 20 minutes of it being on my first red flag came up.. I fell for it and for that I am writing this review so you don't have to. You're welcome.

First one I purchased laster one year in my camper. Power unit stopped workingI did and do like what it did.

I have been staying in a 28-foot motor home for the past month. One of the things that was recommended to us was that we purchase a small dehumidifier. The reason is that RV's are pretty airtight. Simple activities, like showering, washing dishes and even breathing put a lot of humidity in the air that can't escape. When it gets cold, you see a tremendous amount of condensation on the windows, the walls of the bathroom, etc. If you don't remove the moisture from the air, your RV can start to grow mold or mildew and smell musty.We spotted this model at Camping World--grossly inflated in price, of course--so we knew it would work in our motor home. An associate at Home Depot said they could order it, but we actually were able to purchase it at a discount on Amazon. Although it seems a bit expensive for no bigger than the unit is, it has certainly been a help to us.This dehumidifier is really easy to use. You just place it on the floor or a counter approximately one foot away from any walls or furniture, and then you plug it in and leave it. The cord is over ten feet long, so you can place it a fair distance away from any outlet. As long as it is on and the tank is not full, you'll see a little green circle on the front of the unit. When it fills up, the circle turns red. There's a little float in the reservoir that trips a switch so this can happen. With the built-in handle, you can easily move it from place to place.This dehumidifier is really small. It measures 14 inches tall, 8 inches wide and 5 inches from back to front. Consequently, the capacity of the reservoir is small--about 6 cups. Yet, with our small space, it hasn't filled up yet. When I run it continuously, it accumulates approximately 1/2 cup of water per day. I empty it every day or so, because I don't want to have to clean the reservoir or risk it being tipped, spilled, etc. It is fairly easy to remove the reservoir to dump it. I don't like to waste water, so I pour it into my PUR pitcher for drinking.The little green indicator light is pretty bright. As long as it is not facing our bed at night it's okay. It almost works as a night light. The unit does make a steady noise like a fan, but this serves as a pleasant source of "white noise" for us when we are camping in crowded RV parks.The only thing I don't like about this unit is that the power supply gets quite hot while it is running. One day I came home and smelled something burning. Nothing was damaged, but our plastic dash where it had been sitting got very hot. Now we do not leave it running when we are not around.If you are looking for a dehumidifier to pull moisture out of a small space, this is an affordable, efficient choice that is quite portable and takes up very little space. Just be sure you do not set the power supply on anything that is flammable or can't take the heat.

Good product up until now bought November 2023 lasted from December 2023 until February 2025 before it just died and won’t turn back on. I guess if it has like a protection plan just pay for it /:

We currently are staying in our 40 ft coach while we are building our new home, we have had constant moisture problems with condensation on all the windows during cold weather. We purchased this product wondering if it could control the moisture in a large RV, thinking that it maybe to small, however to our surprise the second day after we pluged it in, not a drop of condensation anywhere. We have only had this dehumidifier for a couple of weeks but so far we are extremely happy with it. This dehumidifier seems to control more moisture per sf than advetised. Runs super quiet. Highly recommended.
