Arrived on time and works just fine. Had old IDE Drives and some SATA. Was able to get all the info from the drives I wanted.

Works EXACTLY as described! I was able to recover many files from a hard-drive on a damaged laptop. I now use it to piggy-back a 18gb Sata drive for additional system storage. This thing paid for itself its first use! I highly recommend this item and I would definitely purchase again if needed.

I had 2 old SATA HD's with tons of pictures, but both the laptops were broken. I ordered this to recover all my videos and photos onto a new Windows 11 laptop.First I tried with USB but the Win 11 laptop would not recognize the USB device. I decided to try the USB-C adapter that came with the hard drive reader. I was able to get into one of the hard drives, but when I tried the second hd I got the "not recognized" error again. Windows update was up to date, but there seems to be driver issue.I connected the hard drive reader to my MAC and both hard drives were immediately recognized. I was able to transfer all my files.I did a little research and it seems a lot of people that have the issue that the PC doesn't recognize the USB device are on Windows 11.

This perfectly met my need to access an IDE hard drive without putting the drive in a computer. Set up was extremely easy. I used it to access an old hard drive with the IDE interface. It took only a few minutes to connect the drive to a computer using the USB 3.0 cord. Directions were clear and easy to follow.

Worked fine for 10 minutes then stopped also I have 3 sata drives the computer guy told me this would work so I bought 1 yes it was working on my Xbox for the external drives I started a transfer trying to get everything on one drive I left the room came back to find that there's nothing like it won't read either drive so I order a new one it don't work either I think that the power supply might be to much idk all I know is I lost alot of my files off accounts that I no longer have witch was probably a couple grand so no I don't recommend this product!
