easy to assemble and beautiful
This piece was a great addition for my gallery display at events. It was easy to assemble (I just turned on a movie and did it mysef), and looks great! I saw that others have stained it, but right now I'm leaving it alone since the wood looks great. My only complaint is the stickers they use for identifying the parts for assembly. Some stickers are more difficult to get off, while others came off before I started assembling and just taking off the plastic. While another sticker left an imprint of the ink on a piece of wood. Thankfully that imprint is in a spot that people won't see. But overall great purchase that I ended up getting another one for my studio.

Simple Quality Design yet Puzzling Assembly
The media could not be loaded. I have an art gallery and I use this to hold art prints. It enables easy flipping through a stack of pieces. It does the job and I’ve received several compliments on how perfect it serves its purpose.I wouldn’t say assembly was difficult... just confusing. It’s actually only 2 pieces that get screwed together at 2 hinges with 4 screws. But the instructions are just pictures (no words) which are in black &white and it makes it almost an optical illusion when you’re trying to figure out how the 2 pieces fit together.Once I figured out how they fit together, I had difficulty holding them steady together with one hand and drilling in the screws with the other. I’d say 2 people aren’t REQUIRED for assembly but an second set of hands would really help!Overall I would definitely recommend! Quality piece for affordable price. In the video I didn’t show the full device but those are 8.5”x11” prints standing up for a size reference of the “pocket section”

Assembly nightmare
Do not buy this. Directions and parts are poorly labeled and it basically is just a guessing game as to what goes where. Ultimately I got it put together… by looking at the picture online. should’ve been a breeze to put together. It is not a complicated design…. Almost like they went out of their way to make it complicated when it didn’t have to be. Seriously stay away from this nightmare .

A few things to know
UPDATE: Still love these. I ended up staining these two in the photo a grey color. And actually ordered a third a few weeks ago in a different color (walnut I think?) The third one did come with a diagram to assemble. Added an updated photo of all 3.I own two of these stands and I am very happy with them! They work great for my extra art I don't have the wall space for and everyone loves flipping through them when they visit. The only negative things is that there is no instructions to assemble. It's pretty easy once you figure out how to cross the two pieces (I used the photos here to see how they fit). I will also say there is an odd smell to them when you first pull them out of the box but nothing too strong (it goes away by the end of the day). Neither of these issues were major in my opinion and it wouldn't stop me from purchasing them again or recommending them.

Screws showing on top and sides
I bought one of these a few years ago and love it! This one is a little disappointing as it didn't come assembled like it did previously, and once assembled you can see the screws on the top and sides, making it look less polished than the previous version of the product. Assembly is a bit confusing, but not too bad.

Beautiful but the hinges pop off the screws a little too easily
Tl;Dr -- I used this for the first time at an art show this past weekend and mostly love it, but I wish the hinge hardware were a little sturdier. It was overall perfect for the show itself, creating a perfectly accessible spot for customers to thumb through my art prints; it looked professional, inviting, and charming in my display booth. I was able to assemble it at home, fold it up on top of my supply boxes in my car, and set it up at the show without an issue. However, as I was packing up to go home, I gently folded it back up, but apparently not gently enough: the hinges I had assembled at home had popped off. The screws remained in the wood, but the metal hinge snapped off over the screw heads. I've already been able to flatten them back out and get the screws back in, but I suspect either this hinge's metal will weaken further or the screws/holes will be stripped if it happens again, so I plan to order a few backup hinges. The good news is that the set of hinges that snapped isn't the set that's necessary for the stand to unfold and stand up; it locks into place assembled even without the popped hinges, but it does flop around my car more while flat without the second set of hinges attached. Overall not bad quality for the price; I always bring extra hardware to my art shows anyway, and hinges/screws aren't expensive to stock up on, but I'm definitely going to get heavier-duty hinges than came with the stand once I stock up on my backups. It never hurts to be handy with a set of tools for maintaining your own art display supplies, but I was kind of hoping I'd get more than one use out of it before I had to break those out for repairs.

It works very well.

Nice quality art rack for the price.
This is suitable for smaller works on paper, especially when you want customers to be able to stand and flip through small pieces. Would recommend for work on canvas as the depth is pretty limited. Assembly is pretty straightforward with easy to follow instructions.
