Easy to understand and use once you get past editing the date/time
Easy to understand and use once you get past editing the date/time, however the small screen and grey on grey made editing the date/time somewhat more difficult, that and figuring out the GUI to do it. Once that was done the Bluetooth connection to the Beurer app on my smartphone was effortless and so was the measuring of my temperature. It's nice.

JUNK
Not as advertised! Says it beeps when you take your temperature. During setup I turned on sound, not a sound at all !!! Also not accurate 1.2 degrees lower than actual temperature. Don't buy,I have another thermometer that cost half the price and it beeps and is spot on accurate. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JUNK. GERMAN DESIGN AND MADE IN CHINA.

CONFUSING and HARD TO USE WHEN SICK. Data Handling OBNOXIOUSLY DIFFICULT.
Did a lot of research and the promise of the FT 95 was NOT delivered. I am writing this review now because I just found this device in my seat pocket over a year later. The last use was a year ago (3/9) and I am still getting regular fevers from immune issues. The FT 95 is just so difficult for me to use AND to even be able to SEE display to know IF IT IS ON or OFF. The 'light' does not come on autmatically and goes off so soon that by time raise up to face to see / comprehend the display .. IT GOES OUT ! The Human interface is obtuse and has few options to change display.I simply wanted a device to turn on - take temperature have it date/time stamp the reading and send data automatically via blue tooth to my health logger, if online. OR IN THE LEAST, for me to have to periodically turn on device and push a simple DOWNLOAD BUTTON or easy combo to send data to my BT reciever/server. And in researching it seemed like this NT-95 would do that. They showed that they had software tools for 'diy' downloads at the least and seemed they would allow automatic connect and update data when paired to the BT server.BUT IT DOES NOT. It does date/time stamp the readings and that is good. BUT the unreadable display (without lighting) and the frustating button pressing (when sick) and the display light duration makes it so tedious to review readings that I simply did not attempt it until better. (when It was too late to see trending).. AND I would then have to WRITE DOWN the readings and/or type into my data entry for data logger. The supposed BlueTooth data transfer is so OBNOXIOUS that its seems intended ONLY to download to their app (unlike as was advertized to PC in their advertisements) and requires internet connections. The BT transfer of data is not accessible from the device to your data system without going thru THEIR APP's HOOPS !! That makes it unusable in any non-internet -- private mode !! Your data is accesible to them (even says so in their tos.I bought this FT-95 because I needed to use the BT data logging so I could get warnings of temperature profiles in real time... to help me when getting an immune reaction. As the reaction starts and my thinking blurrs I can be blinded as to rapidity/severity of reactions. I usually do take notice of 'event markers' including fever and take temperature sometimes but perspective of the reading trends can be lacking.. that is why I wanted a BT device to get the data to my event/data logger so I could be warned of event trends and/or in the least know WHY i was hurting so bad in days following. However, using this NT-95 for monitoring fever profiles is so difficult that I can not do it even WITHIN the device because of difficulty of human interface - especially when 'sick'.SORRY for rambling.. but after a year and finding this setting unused and my hopes dashed I needed to share. The frustration is that Beurer HAS the tech and IN THIS NT-95 unit, but force you to do THEIR process and so THEY control YOUR data. WRONG.I have still been using an older ear thermometer because it is easy to see and as best as can try to remember trends using my physical marking flags for remebering stages. At least the ease of use allows me to SEE temperature readings easily - even prior readings (no date/time) and so realize when its dangerous.

Screen scratched
The thermometer arrived quickly. Unfortunately, the screen and the corpus arrived scratched and looked like it had been used before. I turned it on and it was giving me an error. After several attempts, I was able to connect it.
