Great product
Great replacement for Spectrum remote. It works great with our TV. I did have to call Spectrum for the cable codes to program the cable button. Other than that smooth sailing.

Doesn’t Work
This remote will not program per the instructions and is pretty much only good for powering on and off. Any other command and all the buttons just light up red.

Been using this model for years, buttons wear out with time
This was the universal remote that came with my Time Warner Cable service many years ago. I have it set up to control my Apple TV, my Onkyo Amp, and my Samsung 46" display. The unit seems to have a lifespan of a few years, and then the buttons become first unreliable, and finally stop working. Since setup is tricky, I've kept note on the setup, so it's fairly quick when I get a new unit. In case you've never used a Universal Remote before, to get the unit to control your devices, you have to find the ID Code for your particular make and model of device- cable, audio, internet, display. The manual includes a list of hundreds of codes. There might be 20 codes listed for your device, for example, a Sony flat screen etc. You have to trial and error through the codes. It's a chore, and now that I know the codes for my gear, my set up for the new remote was quick. Having a single remote to control power, channel, to move through the Netflix menus and control volume and mute is worth the trouble. Imagine, one single remote in your hand. No doubt, I'll have to buy another in a few years, but overall, it's worth it.

Cheap, easy and fast.
Headline says it all.All 5 of my old Time Warner/Spectrum remotes partially died in quick sequence. Each one had a different fatal disease and I was controlling the main DVR (SA) with four of them; one to select devise, one for TV source& volume, etc.. this $5.00 & change gadget fixed all. Just make sure you have one of the cable boxes or DVR's listed as compatible and issued by Time Warner or Spectrum.

It works
This is the same original remote control I got with my Spectrum Cable TV Arris box. It works perfectly. Didn't require any set up at all. Worked right out of the box.
