They Just Work
I bought this little pump to make a DIY evaporative cooler for our shed, after 6 years often running 24 hours a day the pump still works. I only have to clean the screen from time to time.

Easy to Use
IT PUMPS!These run all summer long and we get a year or two of use out of them.

Do not buy if planning to use for an aquarium or anything other than simply pumping water basically.
When first installed it worked well. Not very powerful, but it was strong enough for what I was using it for. But after a few days of use, the unit just stopped working all together. Took it apart to check for clogs or filtration issues. Found a tiny piece of debris that somehow made it through the filter holes and was still large enough to prevent the motor from spinning the fan. Removed it and plugged it back in to test and there is no sound or suction what-so-ever. Upon closer investigation I noticed a burning smell coming from the unit. The motor is completely burned out. I bought this same pump a second time before thinking to check for a clog, and the once again the motor burned itself out after only a few hours of use. It doesn't matter if u routinely check the filter or clean it, this pump will burn out if practically anything other than water gets through the filter. Will be returning.

Works out of the box
I decided to buy this little pump for my small fountain project with a small solar panel. It works great.

mixed feelings
The media could not be loaded. I have mixed feelings on the pump so pros+consPros:- moves water well- is silentCons:- there is no mechanism preventing water flow, if the pressure inside is too high (i.e too much water) it will overflow through the output- piggybacking off of the previous point, I had one end output into soil and if there's a seal with the tube+soil water and spoil will recede back into the pumpI caught it quickly and if you can set it up without having it dip into soil it flows fine. I'll need to redesign my distribution to accommodate for the lack of a water flow-preventing mechanism, but I've attached a video of when it's running Fine. They seem capable and I have faith in them, especially since I'm only running them occasionally via momentary push switch. The pumps alone aren't going to cut it and one should plan accordingly.

Powerful water stream in a mini package
I used this pump to circulate water in my 2.5 gallon planted freshwater tank. I am very satisfied with it. It is definitely the smallest submersible water pump I've came across, and packs tons of power. In fact the water current was so strong that it is blowing my plants like those trees in those devastating tropical storm videos. I ended up running the 12V pump with a 3.8V wall-wart to tame it down. The pump runs very quiet, probably because of the lower voltage. The supplied suction cups attaches the pump firmly on the wall of the aquarium. So far I have no complaint about this pump. I will definitely buy it again for another projects.

Perfect Size For My Fountain
Original review: This provided just the right amount of flow required by my fountain. Also, the wattage was low enough that it didn't place too big a drain on my solar panel and Lipo batteries. The Eco-Worthy solar panel is a 20 watt unit at about $28, and the solar regulator was by Anself at about $15. There is a margin of watts provided to watts consumed to give a reliable flow with power to spare. This fountain came with a 115VAC pump and it worked fine. So, why go solar? The fountain was moved to the far side of a walkway, and this seemed the perfect solution as I didn't feel like breaking up concrete and running electricity to the new location. Not being a necessity to work at night is not a problem. I can set a lower battery voltage limit with the Anself regulator. This keeps my Lipos up to minimum capacity without fear of draining the battery due to an over discharge.

Not very good
Disappointed in this. The pump is for a small goldfish pond and worked ok at first but weakened quickly. After about a month... went down to a trickle. Took pump apart and cleaned it which really didn't help much. I think it is just cheaply built and not durable like the pump that it replaced. The first one that came with the pond lasted about a year. This one got weak after a month. Not worth me returning since it was cheap but save yourself the headaches and buy a better pump.
