Worth Every Penny
Vast majority of cheaper flag hardware rotates on the pole creating friction and noise. These rotate within their own bearings so they work 1000% better than cheaper alternatives. No noise or rubbing on the pole because the bearing is encased. And the bearings work fantastically allowing the flag to stretch fully instead of sagging for allowance. Have been through many days of high winds and flag has never folded or flipped. Incredibly impressive. Quality piece of hardware. Can’t speak to endurance over time but so solid Imaginably will last. Worth every penny to never fix flag and never hear noise when blowing.

IT ACTUALLY WORKS!
I am not one to take the time to write many reviews but I had to for this product. I have been fighting with the flag on my home winding up on the pole for years. I have tried what I thought was everything on the market over the years but with no success. Finally last week I gave it one more try and searched Amazon and found this product advertising to keep the flag free to spin. Well...I am writing this review today to tell you all it DOES WORK! I couldn't be happier and the fact that they are made in the USA is even better. The quality seems excellent! Thank you to whomever designed and manufactured something that really works as advertised! My flag is finally flying proudly!

These flag rings work!
Highly recommend! My flag was driving me crazy because it would tangle up at least weekly. Since I installed these flag rings, my flag hasn’t tangled up even once, and I live in a pretty windy area. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Worth every penny!
I couldn't wait to write this review! I installed these as soon as I got them. I'm a bit OC with my flag. I work from home and would see the flag wrap around the pole several times a day. It hangs from a porch post at a 45 degree angle. While browsing through all the various products, I only saw one with ball bearings but reviewers said they were not stainless steel and would rust and seize up. In others, the part the actual flag attaches to is "aluminum alloy" which will bleed and leave black marks and streaks. Make no mistake, these rings are super expensive! More than my 1-1/8 inch aluminum flag pole and top quality Annin flag combined. But in the 10 days I've had these now, I HAVE YET to untangle my flag. It's amazing! Almost all other ring sets that show their product installed instruct the user not to pull the rings too tight. I believe this is the secret to this set. The instructions tell you to ensure the flag is taut between the rings. This, in my opinion, makes the spine of the flag act as a "rod" between the top and bottom ring and helps the rings keep in sync with each other, acting as one unit. It also is a testament to the strength of the rings themselves. Other manufacturers do not want tension on their rings! My only suggestion for improvement is this: I wish the 1-1/8 rings came in a silver color to match a silver or aluminum flag pole. But this is a small concern as nobody sees the rings themselves, just the flag flying gloriously tangle free! Bottom line - a great investment, well worth the premium price!

Get these for your flag!
Love these ball bearing flag mounts! The spin ability keeps my flag unfurled at all times. It fits my 1.25” pole perfectly and a good solid weight. It’s resistant to rust and made of good quality.

The Phillips-head retention screw doesn't fit screwdrivers properly, so it strips when you turn it.
The first day I used these flagpole rings, one of them broke, so I was going to rate them as "1-star." But right after I sent them back for a refund, I read another review that revealed that these flagpole rings are supposed to be installed the exact opposite orientation of other flagpole rings that I'm accustomed to, so it was partly my fault that they broke on the first day I used them, as I accidentally installed them upside-down. The reason I installed them upside-down is because I'm familiar with other flagpole rings that need to be installed the exact opposite way -- other flagpole rings say you must install them with the top bolt-hole above the ring and the bottom bolt-hole below the ring, but these flagpole rings are the opposite. I trusted that these flagpole rings should he installed in the same orientation as others, but I was wrong. But I have other criticisms of these rings, in addition to their fragility:The Phillips-head retention screw doesn't fit screwdrivers properly, so it strips when you tighten it or loosen it. I tried several Phillips-head screwdrivers, and they all have the same problem with this screw. I don't know why they didn't use hex screws that fit a hex key (Allen wrench) like most other flagpole rings do, even the less expensive flagpole rings -- they really should have used hex screws to avoid stripping the screws. Also, the clips are hard to attach to the flag's grommet holes. For this price, the clips should be carabiners, not those hard-to-attach clips included.
