Easy, very sticky and very versatile! It fit on my trash to prevent my daughter from digging into the trash due to her curious. It fits on my cabinets so she can't access any of the chemicals. Eventually I came across a missing sticky double sided tape but amazon resolves that issue easily. Plus, later I noticed that they provide extra/spare (4) sticky double sided tape! I haven't tested out if removing and reusing works but there is instructions on using heat and floss to remove and reuse product. I'm glad there is instructions because I'm sure people would just use only floss by default.

The product works perfectly! I’ve used them to close off my cabinets/drawers/ trash can and my toddler can’t get in. It’s super functional for an adult to open. The steps to install is also easy. You just have to measure the ends and stick it onto whatever surface you need. I’ve had these on my cabinets since my baby was 6 months old and he is now 20 months and the locks are still intact so that says a lot of the adhesion.

We have two toddlers who may have been tornadoes in a past life. I needed a better solution than locking all of our doors or dropping close to $50 to buy enough of the ones big box stores have.These are relatively cheap, so I wasn't expecting much. That said, these are great! For one, they actually stick to what I need them to without having to practically glue them down. I can't comment on residue left behind, but I'm not terribly concerned about it. They stretch as far as I've needed, including around corners. The lock itself (once I figured it out) is super easy to work with one hand and stumps our 3.5yo who has figured out every other method of baby proofing.I do wish the mechanism that locks the strap into place came undone, as I did misjudge it once, but it doesn't stop them from working.Hopefully I won't have to, but I'll buy them again if needed and recommend them if anyone asks.

Update - the manufacturer reached out to rectify my experience after seeing my review and I will always appreciate/value strong customer service. Adding back another star - if replacement product resolves my issue, I don’t see why this wouldn’t be worthy of 5 stars.One arrived defective (latch slide was jammed, wouldn’t slide and blocked the unit from latching), so 50% stars for only 50% of my product being functional. The other one, however - super effective.

My young grandkids were coming for a visit, and I needed something to childproof my cabinets and drawers. I had previously used a different childproof lock that was more difficult to set up. These childproof safety locks by Skyla Homes were a breeze to install. The 3M pads adhered well to the various surfaces I applied them to. The quality and durability were perfect. The little ones pulled on the drawers and the cabinet doors, but the locks held firm. I would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. We've tried all types of baby proofing, including a long stint with the locks you mount inside your cabinet that use a magnet to unlock, and these are hands-down a better option. They are really easy to install and customizable to fit your cabinets. Above all, they are really easy for nimble adult hands, but impossible for tiny baby hands. My issue with the magnetic locks was that you had to find/retrieve the magnet any time you wanted to open a door (which is not the most practical), but more so the fact that I regularly had issues with the magnetic latch peeling off if my toddler pulled with too much force. I would also often have to run the magnet over where I though the latch was 2-3 times before it would catch, but with these there is no guesswork. My kiddo has yanked and pulled on the cabinets and the latches have remained firmly stuck on. I will say that our cabinets are white, so these blend in a way that they wouldn't for wood or darker tones, but I still think the ease of use would make it worthwhile for me. Plus I love that you can open these with just one hand!

These child locks are very durable and strong. As soon as I stuck it on our cabinets it didn’t budge. The lock is easy to open as well. My little one hates them which means they work great!

Update. Im upping this to 4 stars from 3, this company has amazing customer service, after my review they reached out to me, and gave me a full refund when i didnt i ask. I really respect companys that take care of their customers. But just because this product didnt work out for me, doesnt mean it wont work for you.I bought these to keep my toddler from throwing all his clothes out of his dresser, and unfortunately he (age2) can undo them himself. They were great for an hour or two.
