Flammi Lazy Glasses Prism Glasses Horizontal Spectacles Lie Down for Reading/Watching TV

These glasses. My goodness. They look so comical, but they work so well! I gave them a shot because I like to fuss around with my phone while lying down, and the angle is bad for my neck if I lie in that position for too long. With these glasses I haven't had any neck issues at all.They're a little heavy, so they're not good to use sitting up straight or standing. But if you're lying flat on your back with a book or device on your stomach, the weight isn't really an issue. They're made of the "soft" kind of plastic too (like gaming mice or phone cases), so overall they're pretty comfortable. It just takes a bit to get used to the right angle, and you can't hold things too close or the space between the prisms becomes a black line in the middle of your vision. If you wear them too long in one sitting your eyes might get fatigued, but I've only had that problem once or twice, and my eyes were probably already tired beforehand.They fit nicely over prescription eyeglasses, which is good because I'm blind as a bat otherwise. Though I had my mother try it out and she found it easier to use them *without* her glasses, so your mileage may vary there.As of this review I've been using them nearly every night for a little over a month, and I love them. I may look ridiculous to an observer, but who cares?

These are ao fun, i can lay in bed and read now without my arms getting tired feom holding the book, it has helped so much and i am abke to read much more comfortably and not straining my neck. Yes they look funny, but they are great for their intended purpose!

Every night I lay in bed and peruse a few things on my iPad - maybe browse the internet, maybe watch a few youTube videos - before going to bed. I don't like propping my head up at right angles, it's uncomfortable, so got these to see what I thought.On the plus side, they work. You can lay VERY comfortably on your back with your iPad sitting on your chest or stomach and watch videos or read web pages. It takes a while to get used to touching the screen since it's no longer where you expect it to be.All is not roses though. The field of vision is limited - somewhat like what I imagine tunnel vision would be like. It's big enough, though, that my iPad screen is completely visible, so this is not an issue for me.The image you see is a little funny though, sort of what you would expect if you were looking through prisms. There is a noticeable dividing line between the two eyes which you do get used to after a bit, but there are also issues with focus around the edges, though this could be due to my eyeglasses.Regular eyeglasses will fit under these, but they are heavy and if you don't get them situated just so, your nose will finally start to complain - at least mine has at times - as has the orbit around my eyes if I have them pushing down too hard on my glasses. In other words, you have to get them situated properly or you will end up with discomfort.The reason I gave these four stars instead of three is that I've been using these virtually every night since I purchased them in spite of the issues. Not having to prop my head up, being able to lay flat on my back and enjoy browsing on my iPad in the evening trumps the oddities and inconveniences these have.My wife thinks I look like the biggest geek that ever existed when I'm laying in bed with these on, so there's that too.

The prism does work and create a clear image, but these are very heavy and fall off easily. They do not fit over most glasses either.

I can wear these over my glasses, and they work for hours. I wish I’d had them years ago. I have used them for computer work, where it is a little tricky, but I also use them for watching TV. They work great for watching TV.

Ordered glasses to use after Cornea Transplants in both eyes. However, I was unable to use them as I have hoped. I had to wear a protective plastic shield over my eye and since I needed my reading glasses on too, I was unable to wear the lazy glasses over my reading glasses and the shield. Also, the glasses were too heavy and would not stay on my face. However, glasses do seem to be well-made and would probably beneficial to someone else. I started to return them; however, both surgeries required some lengthy, uncomfortable recovery periods. I am still under the surgeon's care, but transplants have worked. Linda Deaton

I don’t know why it took me so long to get a pair of these. I wear them every time I go to bed and read my Kindle. They allow you to rest comfortably on your back and not have to crane your neck while reading.They are a little heavy and maybe wouldn’t fit so well on someone with a smaller face, but I think they do just fine!

These work great, but they're kinda cheaply made. So don't get your hopes up on that score. However, they do work as advertised.
