These jumbo safety pins are excellent! We needed a fastener strong enough to hold a blanket onto the side of a recliner for an extended period of time. But then easy to remove. And these work perfectly! We had been looking for something like this everywhere with no luck. So, we are very happy, and satisfied, to have found exactly the right thing.

These 5" safety pins, appear to be strong. They are the same size as the old military duffle bag pins. Haven't used them yet, so not able to say how they will hold up.

These are huge. I bought them so I could pin my wallet/keys/pouch to the inside of my pocket.

I bought these pins to hold a lumbar support pillow against the back of a mesh chair. I read the description cautioning that the pins will leave a large hole in fabric, but I didn’t care since I was fine with visible punctures on the back of the lumbar support and the chair is mesh anyway. What I did not appreciate from the description is that only the very tip of the pin is sharp and it’s followed by a very small/short taper. This makes it SUPER difficult to push the pin through much of anything. The design won’t let it slide through. I finally got two of them through my lumbar support but it was far from trivial to do. After the set up the pins are holding great. Quality of the material is high and the color is silver as described.
