Works great!
Basically a bleach bath but less complicated. You mix 2 ingredients and put it in your unwanted color. It works but beware that it will bleach your hair to a certain degree. My blond got blonder and my black hair around the roots actually turned brown. The directions did say water/bleach mixture will be enough to remove what I have but I chose to use the 20 developer. The semi color pretty much disappeared as I was applying the mixture, so probably overkill but it worked like a charm. Try a small amount water mixture just if you’re unsure. If it’s not working, make another mixture with the developer.

Amazing
Color off really took off all the permanent red out of my hair and left me blonde. Which now I can start new fashion colors. I love it

Didn’t work - use color oops instead.
Didn’t work at all!! I have boxed semi-permanent dark brown hair that I wanted to pull out and dye a medium/ashy brown for summer. I bought two boxes of this. I ran out 3/4 the way and had to use a box of COLOR OOPS I had laying around (my hair is to my boobs and it’s petty thin). THE COLOR OOPS worked and this product did not. It only lightened my roots to an orangey blond 😱 buying three boxes of colors oops and having them overnighted. Hate having to go to work like this tomorrow 😡

BUY 2!!
If you have anything long than shoulder length straight hair.. BUY 2 BOXES!!! I ran out halfway through and had to run out and buy more looking totally crazy!! Other notes-- this is definitely just bleach, but it dries my hair out a lot less than other bleaches I've tried. keep an eye out for blue tones!!! They really stick around in a pretty noticeable green if you dont really get in there with the bleach. Otherwise, this is a really quick way to get bleach out.

It works without damaging hair
I really like this product! I've used it before to remove hair dye, and it's worked nicely every time. I use it on my roots as well to prepare for the next color, and it doesn't lift much, of course, so the 20 vol is perfect for my already lightened hair. Normally I leave it on for 30 minutes. I used the mascara this time and it made my hair feel smooth afterwards, I was not a fan of the smell but it was ok. I recommend this to remove dye, but keep in mind it will lighten your hair.

It worked!!
I have red hair and have been dying it green. The red does not like the green. It's hard to keep up with it. This made everything so easy. I can touch up the spots where the mint is fading into gold. I can do my roots. And I'm not sure if it's because of the color I've gone with (lots of iris green and a couple of dots of aquamarine artic fox = mint) but I can just do the roots and the few golden strands and then redye my head and it looks even and nice. It bleached the spots I put it on but I did not do it all over so I don't know how resistant the ends will be to losing the green. I added a photo of when I did the roots and right after I re-dyed it.I was surprised to get 3 sets of directions in the box and didn't know which to pick. I used the 20% volume that comes in the box and some conditioner I already had. I saw some people say they left it on for longer than the amount it recommended on the directions so I did go a little over on the time but not as long as some of the reviewers. I think it recommended 20 mins and reviewers said they did an hour but I think I did 30-45 mins. My hair was straw after but just like with a normal bleach job and needed lots of moisture the next week. I'll use it again and back off on the time and see how it does. I need to find a good balance between fried and white and less damaged but too much red. This product did a better job of it than the regular bleach jobs I've tried in the past so I am calling it a winner.

CAUTION: Iead ALL the product reviews before buying/using!
I’m 68 and have been dying my own hair for years and finally got tired of it, but my husband told me, “once you go grey you’ll not be able to go back”. So I kept it up.Well I finally decided to do it. What I thought I had bought was a product that just took the color away, instead it bleached (blotched) my dark brown hair to ORANGE! Now I have NO IDEA how to correct it!I’m to embarrassed to go out and have anyone see me, worst part? Im going on vacay to Cabo for two weeks in 5 days and meeting up with a group of friends! Now im going to have a professional fix it if I can get i!UPDATE:I spent $200 having my color corrected! She dyed it to my original color then added sparing highlights to give me more dimension than had to treat it for over processing! Please. Seek out a professional
