The Flag Book (The Fact Book)

I gave this to a 6 year old boy who loves flags. He has read it almost every day. There are a lot of different features in this book, that aren't in the other flag books. The colors are great and the layouts are pleasing. You can't go wrong with this book.

What a great book!! I bought this for my granddaughter who has become inquisitive of world and state flags. The contents/ index is well played out. The "speaking in flags section" where it describes size, patterns and shapes, all the parts of the flag are very interesting. The rest of the book will blow you away!!! I didn't realize that there is a title for persons who studies and designs flags, Vexilloliogist. Interesting book.

Purchased as a gift for an 8 year old who loves flags. His mom reports that he is really enjoying the book. Spine was slightly damaged on arrival but I didn’t have time to exchange it, so I took away one star for that.

My almost 6yo watched a youtube video on flags and became quickly very curious about all things flags. He would ask what country the flags were or ask what the flag looked like from some obscure country. I finally headed to amazon to find him the perfect book. This book is great, much bigger than I thought it would be and so colorful with great write-ups and pictures for kids and adults alike. I have already learned so much and am also now able to answer questions about flags more easily. The book hasn't left his side since it was delivered. Highly recommend for your flag enthusiast.
