Less expensive and works well
The media could not be loaded. I use to have a kitchen aid and rarely used it. Only used it for pizza dough. Also, most of the mixers that are fancy and expensive also have a fancy non stick coatings. This one is almost 500 times less expensive and has no coatings. [Verified by mamavation.com ] But I couldn't figure out how to use it and could not find the manual. Looked it up on YouTube and lady uses a spoon to help the dough just a bit. I did that and my dough came out so good. Gluten structure was beautifully built. I would think that can be done in other items that seem are hard like pizza dough. I'm going to try making butter using heavy cream the next time. So far, i love it. It's different but it's not toxic. Also, my kitchen aid simply took up space for soooo many years and I rarely used it. This one i can take apart and it doesn't have to take up space on my counter, If i don't want it to. It's light. And as the video ad part of the item shows, the spinning of the bowl is normal. It's a genius idea if you ask me. Because that's how it gets to all the flour to make dough. If it can make great dough for pizza, then hey there, pain au chocolat, here we come!! Highly recommend!

Perfect For First Time Bakers :)
Before buying this I obviously read the reviews to see if it was worth it. I knew that I wasn't gonna get much and was already expecting something cheap and just not really appealing in the kitchen, but when this arrived (nicely packaged btw) I was really shocked (in a nice way) with what I got! I received a "good quality" mixing bowl and a nice and modern mixer with a stand attachment along with it. The bowl is a bit small but it works just as well or even better than a normal whisk-by-hand bowl. Anyways, the mixer is nice and has a firm grasping unit so if you decide to hand mix it with the electric mixer it feels comfortable as heck! The attachments that come along with the mixer are normal quality attachments but i'm not so sure about the dough hook. It looks and feels flimsy-ish so I wouldn't recommend making bread or anything of that matter with this mixer. I would almost give this a 5 star rating but there are a few other things that make me hesitant about doing so. First of all, when this machine is mixing the mixture that you're making, it actually doesn't incorporate fully. It only does the middle and stays in place which makes it inconvenient because you have to actually be constantly stirring with a spatula to make sure it gets fully incorporated. Another reason is that the mixing bowl does not lock in place and this causes the bowl to continue turning with no end. I barely started using this Hamilton Beach product and already love it, it's perfect for a baker who wants to start small and work their way up to a real Kitchen Aid stand mixer. It is great for making frosting, cakes, cookies, brownies.. etc just not for bread ;(. All in all this mixer is amazing for the price as long as you are willing to stand there and help it out a bit. I also love this because you can use it individually if you don't want to use the standing attachment; it also isn't that loud which is AMAZING!

Hamilton Beach 6-Speed Classic Stand Mixer, Stainless Steel - A Kitchen Essential
The Hamilton Beach 64650 stand mixer is a reliable and efficient kitchen appliance. It offers six speeds, a powerful 290-watt motor, and a stainless steel mixing bowl that can hold up to four quarts. The mixer is easy to use and comes with a variety of attachments, including a whisk, dough hook, and flat beater. It also features a tilt-head design for easy access to the bowl and attachments. However, the mixer can be quite loud when operating at higher speeds, and the included attachments may not be as durable as other brands. Overall, the Hamilton Beach 64650 is a decent choice for home bakers who need an affordable and versatile stand mixer.

Mixmaster
I am in my late 70’s and have baked my whole life.Let me just say that this is the cheapest and the most awful mixer I have ever used. The beaters don’t touch the bottom of the bowl so you have to lift the bowl and swirl it to incorporate the ingredients. The lever to adjust the placement of the beaters within the bowl moves with the vibration of the machine. The bowl if made of the cheapest material and feels “tinny”.It is not worth the price I paid but unfortunately Sunbeam is no longer manufactured and this was my only option.I have one of the last Sunbeams made and I hope it never breaks down. If so I would definitely consider purchasing a “vintage”Sunbeam. This was made in China. Lord help us.

Terrible as a stand mixer. Good as a hand mixer.
The attachments don’t touch the bottom of the bowl so it doesn’t mix all the way. It works fine as a hand mixer but It’s honestly not worth the money if you want a stand mixer.
