This is the real deal. Not all Kashmiri paprika is really Kashmiri. How do you know? The aroma should be strong and it should NOT be super spicy. Kashmiri is known to be mild and balanced. That's this one. I use this as my main paprika for everything. Saute garlic in a pan, add some of this! Mmmmm. It will flavor the oil and that will fill the whole dish with the flavor. It's so good. I wish it was bigger! This is a lot of paprika but me, personally, it won't last long with me.

I found a Dahl recipe that called for this chili powder and I was thrilled with the result. Great quality and depth of flavor!

This chili powder has the classic aroma and taste plus it is available in a 3 ounce plastic jar. The only size containers that I could find in the area where I live were 7 or 16 ounces. The spice in those large size spice containers would go stale before I could use all of it.

This stuff has just the right amount of heat and flavor. If you haven’t had Kashmiri chili powder before it’s like the best paprika you’ve ever had but better. On a heat scale of 1-10 (10 being hottest) this is a 3. Mild but very tasty and it also adds a terrific bright red color to any sauce. Highly recommended.
