Xmas present for my wife. She was very happy, said it tasted amazing and was very smooth. I tried a little and while I agree it was smooth I still don't like tequila but I'd buy her another bottle.

A lovely lovely tequila

I have family in Mexico and have been in desperate search of a good UK tequila... but for me this isn’t really a tequila, it’s very smooth to sip but the flavour of vanilla is too overwhelming, it’s far too sweet and misses that tequila kick! (It’s great as an alternative to vodka in an espresso martini but totally destroys a margarita!)

Easily the best tequila I have ever drunk, and for the price it’s unbelievable value! An easy drinking, smooth tequila with amazing hints of coffee and melted butter. Great in cocktails or just by itself. This will be a regular on my bar from now on - it looks really cool too!Addition - I continue to buy and enjoy this product on the regular so I just wanted to update my review to once again say how fantastic it is. My favourite drink now, it's just great.

I'd say the taste is somewhere in-between Patron Anejo and Don Julio 1942. All my friends love it!You can taste vanilla, caramel and whisky in it. It might be aged in ex-Jack Daniels casks but don't worry it doesn't take like Jack Daniels! It's a shame they didn't use Hibiki casks!A great introduction for changing how people feel about tequila.An absolute steal at £40!Great flavour & warmth that you can enjoy on it's own, with ice or in a cocktail at this price point!Quite sweet, if you don't like sweetness look to Reposado. At 60 I'd get a Patron Anejo or give try El Jimador Anejo a try at 30!

We absolutely love the reposardo from Vivir and so we were really excited to try this. However, that excitement soon turned to a literal burning disappointment when we realised that this was nowhere near as smooth or vanillary as its lighter (and cheaper) sibling.I don't know if we just ended up with a dud bottle but it's awful, other reviews mention it being smooth, sweet and vanilla flavoured, however we found it it be harsh and bitter. It burns your mouth and throat when you drink it, infact more so than when it comes back up in the morning - which it has every single time I've drunk it (and we've still got 2/3rds of the bottle left!!)Like I said, we may well have got a dud, but for c£60 a bottle I expected much, much better!

Not got a lot to do with tequila.Just tastes of vanilla.So if you don't like tequila you may love this.
