This is a really well made product. It is made of solid wood and assembly is easy screw on parts. No special tools are needed. Only an allen wrench is needed to tighten the base screws and its included. The pegs screw in and hand tighten. The natural wood finish is beautiful and the parts were all in perfect condition in the box. It is a very sturdy product and has a feel of solid construction. It would have been nice if it had come with three matching wood plugs to cover the screw holes at the base but it still looks like a quality furniture piece. Overall this is an excellent product for its price and quality.

This is an exceptional product! The rack is very easy to quickly assemble (tool is supplied!), cleverly designed with quality materials, and packaged to insure parts are protected during delivery. The simple diagram-based instructions are easy to follow and yield a stabile, attractive, and highly useful rack with “hanging points” of different heights so children and adults will find it compatible with their needs. The rack has an unobtrusive “footprint,” and is light in weight while steady even for heavy coats. I bought this coat rack to put in my office since I need a place to hang up coats, jackets and whatnot when I am at work. At this price point I was not expecting old-world craftsmanship. It is a pretty basic coat rack with an understated, traditional appearance. It was very easy to assemble. No tools are required (only a single hex wrench to attach the legs, which is included). It was more annoying to remove the parts stickers than screw the thing together, which only took about five minutes. The fit and finish is OK for the price. In some places the sanding is uneven and the finish is slightly imperfect. Nothing you will see at a distance. It seems fairly stable on carpet, but I cannot say if it is stable on other types of flooring (the bottoms of the feet do have rubber pads). I can't speak to long-term durability at this point. But people need to remember that is made of rubberwood. If you over-tighten the connections, it can crack. Tighten to the point that they are snug, but don't overdo it. If you overtighten the connections and then put a ton of weight on it, it can crack. I have had other rubberwood furniture items that have lasted 20+ years without a problem - just don't overtighten the connections. Also, some of the negative reviews here seem to be of other coat racks, not the VASAGLE RCR03/003. So far, I have no significant problems with it other than the minor flaws in the finish. If you want a mega indestructible, rock-solid coat rack with a smooth-as-silk finish, this is not it. But if you want such a coat rack, you will pay WAY more than the thirty-ish bucks that this costs. For the price, this is a fair deal.

Easy to assemble, sturdy & looks great!

Easy to put together, hasn’t fallen over & we have it packed with a bunch of jackets hanging off it. The wood looks great !

We needed something to hang our wet coats to dry when we come in from the snow. This coat rack worked perfectly and looked really nice next to the front door during the winter. Now that it's spring we put it in the guestroom for guest to hang hats, purses, or whatever on. I'm glad we bought it because it's really nice!
