Q: Does this work only in the sunlight or does it charge up and store the energy so it can be in use constantly?

It doesn't store energy it only works in sunlight but mine works even if it's a cloudy day at a reduced flow, stronger the light better the flow rate

Q: can the pump filter be clened

Yes it can, the pump has a small mesh drawstring bag to pop it into which acts as a prefilter and the pump itself had a small sponge filter which can be removed for cleaning. N.B. It looks as though the pump is a sealed unit as there are no obvious grooves/notches, etc to remove the filter cover, but I used a small slothead screwdriver to prise it off - no harm done and it popped back on easily.

Q: The solar panel is it a single prong push in fitting one youve unscrewed it

Yes it is just a single push in and screw up connection. So looking at the actual panel, this is a fixed connection to the cable; further down the cable you see the connection we are discussing. This means that the bracket can be attached to the fence for example, the panel attached to the bracket and tilted as required towards the sun. The cable runs down to the pump which is submerged. If you wish to disconnect the panel without dismantling everything, you just unscrew the connection and remove the panel. Hope that helps.

Q: Can it be used in a approx 2ft high circular water feature?

Potentially yes but i cannot be definitive. It comes with a bird bath type spray sprout, which didn't use it for that. I attached some 8mm clear tubing to it to pump the water up about 6 inches in my water feature, which has water trickling downwards. It works very well and is strong flow. It depends on how much water you pump and how high I suppose to see if your feature will benefit from it. As it says, this pump is 200 litres per hour - does your feature say anything? Maybe just give it a go!!!
