La Crosse Technology WT-3102S Atomic Analog Wall Clock, 10", Silver

Really like this clock. After it arrived yesterday I put a battery in it. set the switches to Eastern time zone and daylight savings and let it search for the WWVB signal. It did not find the signal. so I set it manually to be 1 minute faster than my Casio Waveceptor wrist watch (which synchronizes to WWVB and is in agreement with my cell phone and with the cable box to the second). Apparently, the clock found the time signal last night because when I checked it today it now agrees with my wrist watch to the second. I think that's really good for the price (and really cool!).

Great clock! Love the atomic clock sync technology! Didn't think it was working when I first stood it up facing east to pick up the atomic clock signal in (get this - Fort Collins, Colorado) and nothing happened. Came back to it a couple of hours later, and the time was set to 9:30, same as my other clocks! It also adjusts for daylight savings time as well as time zone (won't know until Fall) but if it does work, no more climbing on ladder to change the time! Would buy it again!

This is my second La Crosse atomic clock. The first one I had for about 5 years, but then accidentally dropped and broke it. I immediately went and ordered another. I cannot live without this clock in my living room. The radio reception works excellent where I live (about 1,000 miles from Colorado). I hate having to check my phone for the time, so having a perfectly accurate clock on the wall (that changes itself for DST) is a necessity for me. It is literally "set and forget" until it's time to change the batteries once every 2 years.Here's what you do once you receive the clock:1) On the back, move the switch to your time zone. You can choose between Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific.2) If your areas does not observe DST, you need to ensure the DST switch is set to "off." (Very important or your clock will be an hour off).3) Insert the battery.4) Place the clock on the wall, preferably with it's face (or it's back) facing towards Colorado.5) Wait. If it is day time, you might not receive the signal since the 60 KHz "long wave" signal is best received at night. (I live 1,000 miles from Colorado and mine usually will work in the day, but not always). So your clock may have the wrong time until that night. The instructions say to give it a few nights before moving the clock to another wall. Hopefully for most people it will work the first night.6) The clock will attempt to receive the signal once every night to keep itself in sync. Mine usually tries at midnight every night. If it does not work the first try, it will try every hour until dawn.Trust me, you will wonder why you haven't had one of these for 20 years. They are great.

Attractive, inobtrusive, keeps perfect time.

MAR 2025 UPDATE: The radio setting has never worked once in all the time I've had this clock. Still, it does keep time well and looks attractive. I do recommend the clock if you're willing to set the time manually -- but note that "falling back" from daylight savings will be tedious as you wait for it to advance through 11 hours of time. I can't recommend this if you are buying it for the automatic set function.I like this clock. It looks super great and seems to work well. Except one thing -- the auto set feature did not work. I gave it a couple days but it seems like it never acquired a signal. Mind you, this wasn't some room buried deep in the house -- it was in the bathroom with an exterior wall and window.Some are saying you need to hang it a certain way to get it to set -- but that's not a great solution. That means you aren't going to get the time sync and timezone change features of the WWV radio signal when it's finally moved to where you want it.My recommendation is: it's a good clock. Set it manually and hang it. If the auto-set feature works for you then fine, but don't assume it will work right. Maybe someday they'll do a version with a better antenna or RF amp so the auto-set function works well. At the very least, it would be nice if they added an LED to indicate whether or not it has acquired the WWV signal.

Works like a charm. Always accurate. Easy to read dial from a distance. Worth it

Love these clocks! Atomic, so don’t have to worry about setting and resetting! Batteries are to last for years too! Very happy with this!
