Float your shelves
If floating shelves float your boat, these are for you. Very heavy duty and they come in various lengths, but you had better use the correct diameter drill bit and make sure the holes are exactly horizontal to the floor.

These worked great!
You will need a 10mm drill bit - it's a must for a not too tight or loose fit. (I used a Fisch brad point drill bit) I could not find a drill guide for this size bit, so I set my shelves such that I could clamp against my drill press support post to insure the hole was drilled into the shelf edge straight for a 90 degree shelf. I also used 1/4" screws for the drywall anchors. The mounting holes will need to be counter sunk for a flush fit. Choose your mounting hardware wisely. If you desire no gap to the wall you will need to rout or chisel out the edge of the shelf for the mounting hardware. Understand this up front - Else you will have a gap of approximately 1/8" (or greater if you did not countersink the mounting frame or used raised head screws) from wall to shelf. The small gap was my intent from the start not wanting to "fit" longer shelves to not perfectly straight walls.I would purchase these in a heartbeat for any floating shelf project!

Exactly the brackets I needed!
Great brackets! I bought these for the shelves I made for the surround sound speakers. After opening the package, I checked each bracket to make sure they were square and all four of them were perfect. My first problem was the hardware that came with it. The screws are countersink but the brackets didn't have the dimple to receive a countersink screw. I ended up just using my own anchors and screws because I know they work. Other than the hardware, installation was easy, but you will need a level and a tape measure. If you're making your own shelves, you will have to carve out the back of the shelves to account for the back of the bracket, otherwise there will be a gap between the shelf and the wall. I don't have a router table so I used my dremmel with a router bit. It's not pretty, but it worked and nobody will see it. My second problem was the thickness of the bracket shaft. Most standard drill bit kits come with a 3/8" then 1/2". For this you'll need one in between, luckily my dad had a 7/16" bit that I borrowed. I have a jig to keep my drill bits perpendicular to the wood, but it's not perfect so the 7/16" gave me a little bit of wiggle room. If you have a drill press, you can probably use a slightly thinner bit. There are more expensive brackets out there that probably come with better hardware, but if you have anchors you're used to, you're better off using them. I was looking for something inexpensive that didn't need to hold a lot of weight. These were perfect.

Exactly what I needed
I lost a bracket for floating shelves I ordered on Amazon and these were the exact replacement I needed. So thankful!

Floating Shelf Holders
Pretty descent shelf holders. These fit really nicely into some fairly thin lumber and offer good support. The dimensional specs listed were almost spot on and I was able to router most tracks ahead of arrival. I did not use the fasteners supplied and used some drywall Molly's from Lowes instead. I ended up needing to use some small washers to assist in anchoring the brackets to the wall and routed a screw head relief on each side of the post to ensure everything sat flush.Keep the screws a bit loose to arrange the posts and then tighten it all down when you have them aligned and level.Do a lot of measuring and use a laser level!

Quality Control sucks
These things are poorly aligned. The first order I had 1 that was crooked, the second order I had 2 that were crooked. I managed to put together a complete set that was satisfactory and returned the crooked ones. Shouldn't have to do that to get a properly made product.

METRIC POST!!!
Well made, simple. Only thing is the post is metric. Not ⅜ not ½. It’s 10mm. Oh well, I needed more tools and am happier in metricland anyway.

You will need to buy you own anchors
The brackets themselves were very sturdy. The wall anchors were trash. They did not tighten at all. I had to purchase new wall anchors to complete the install. Very disappointing.
