It does the job

I bought this because I needed a daily face wash. I read the reviews before purchasing and took the chance on this and I'm glad i did. I have very oily skin and needed a face wash that would not only clean my face but will also address my oily skin. This Viking face wash not only washes away the oil but the combination of the spearmint and mint makes my face feel tingly which i love. When i wake up and wash my face this wakes me up and the smell of spearmint i enjoy. The face wash doesn't over dry but it does dry a little.and I like that because my natural oils keep my face moisturized throughout the day. On the bottle it states follow with moisturizer if needed. The smell is great. The tingles I enjoy. This face wash does what it says. It cleanses purifies and refreshes my face and that's what I like about this face wash. When i run out i definitely will be picking up another.

I only give this four stars because I see room for improvement. I really like this stuff even though I was skeptical at first and it may just be because of my normal wash, which is medicated and has an exfoliant. This wash feels a little cheaper in comparison going on and doesn’t feel like much is happening, but I notice my skin is much clearer and free from blackheads or clogged pores afterwards. I think the exfoliant piece and having a menthol option might be the two parts that make it different from my normal wash, but it’s still effective at what it does. I’ll continue using it in conjunction with the exfoliating one, but it’s definitely a good option for clearing up dirt and sweat, think after a day of work or at the gym.

I was not told to review the product one way or another*Likes: Doesn't have a fragrance after washing, so this can be combined with any other fragrance during a date or party.Clean, light mint smell with a fresh skin feeling afterwards.Works with Beards, and softens your beard to boot.Dislikes: Small bottle, very easy to use 4-5 times and go halfway through the bottle. I was smart and used a pinhole opening to prevent it.Because of size, not recommended for everyday use, unless you are willing to buy several of them for the month.Overall, great product and good for the extrovert who needs a deep clean with no scent.

I'm very happy with this face wash. It's not gritty or irritating, and I like that it has a moisturizer as well as vitamins and aloe vera. It doesn't dry out my skin like other face scrubs I've tried. The mint not only provides a great fragrance but also makes the skin feel refreshed for at least an hour after use. I especially like the fact that in addition to the 8-oz bottle there is a smaller 2-oz bottle that you can take to the gym or put in a travel bag. Definitely worth the price!

Full disclosure: I am a product tester and Viking reimbursed me for purchasing this product. I love their products. I use their beard oils and balms every day. I am a big fan of their bay rum balm in particular. However, I was left disappointed with this product. It smells great. It lathers up nicely. However, it leaves my skin dry. It also causes my beard hair to dry and fall out. It also feels like it leaves a residue on my face. While I will continue to buy and support Viking, I will not buy this product again.

Overall, this has been a great face soap. It has a good scent, but is light enough that after I use it I don't feel like that all I can smell. It rinses off really well, and doesn't dry my skin out. I typically use soap which is exfoliating, so this took a little getting used to, but so far I have been happy.The included travel size bottle was definitely a big selling point for me, and I love it.
