Tedious work but love the picture!
A few observations after having received my kit and started.1- shake paint well before you open. The looser, more mixed paint the easier it spreads and is able to control and stay in the lines. When the paint gets thick it's harder to manipulate. (Water soluble while wet so you can wet your brush and dip into paint to help thin it. Light paint sometimes is too light doing this and may require multiple coats)2- the brushes provided aren't the best quality but they do get the job done. Obviously for the price you pay that's expected. I did snip the ends of two of them because they had 'strings' kind of on them and it made it easier to manipulate after that.3- I ran out of black paint and had to buy more elsewhere. Hope I don't run out of any 'color' because matching would be hard. Will update if I run out of anything else.4- I don't have 20/20 eyesight but I'm close and there are some numbers so small it's hard to make out. I advise having a magnifying glass handy for those without 20/20! THANK GOODNESS they provide the printout copy with the numbers as well - has been a godsend in several instances already! It's a HUGE help!5- good lighting is a must for doing this!6 - use a warm iron on the backside (not the numbered side) to flatten before you begin - this will remove the creases that it has in it and will give you a flat surface to work on!This is a slow and tedious project. The first picture I provided is after 3 days of painting. Keep in mind that's about 30 minutes because after 10 I'm finished! haha The second picture is one after I finished. I LOVE IT!That said, I ran out of black and yellow paint and had to buy more at the craft store. It didn't match exactly but this painting has so much detail and so many things going on you can't tell it!I would advise you make sure you don't let your paint dry out too much or get too thick. Add a dash of water at a time to thin it until you get it where you want. Some colors were dryer/thicker than others. Don't worry about thinning your paint too much. The only side effect of doing that is that you may have to paint over the same spot MULTIPLE times to cover the letter.I checked with my local craft store to see what they would charge me to stretch this over canvas and was quoted $45. So if you want the stretched natural look on these paint by numbers on canvas it's more affordable to buy it already stretched if the option is presented.

Easy. Fun :)
My daughter started this years ago and abandoned it. She was about 9 at the time. I 'touched it up' for her the other day. Old paints had long dried. Made a different scheme and colors. Entirely fun. Can't be so serious when painting something so fun :)

Hope it’s as cute as the picture.
There were many negative reviews for this cute painting. I want to dispel the bad reports. First, many reviewers said the wrinkles could not be removed from the canvas. I used my steam iron & a little bit of spray on Downy wrinkle release on the back of the canvas. With caution I was able to make it lay flat. I plan to take it to Hobby Lobby for framing when I’m finished. That will take care of the few lines left. Even if I don’t take it, I’d be satisfied with it. Second, many people said the paint was dried up & some pots were empty. Not so. All the pots were full of creamy paint. Last, some mentioned the tiny numbers. Ha ha! That’s the nature of paint by numbers. They have obviously never done one before. Only gave 4 stars because I haven’t done any painting on it yet. When I finish, I’ll update my review.

Cute and simple
My five year old granddaughter loved this gift but numbers on print were too small to clearly follow

Very relaxing, you’ll like these.
I bought this, my first paint by numbers, to have something to do that was relaxing. I’m very glad I did this, I really enjoyed this so much I’ve bought a couple more. This painting comes folded up fairly small, so you do have to iron out the creases, I used a steam setting, and turned the canvas face down. It was easy. Once you do that, you can roll it into a tube until you can put it on some sort of stiff backing. I used corrugated plastic board, ( the kind real estates use for their FOR SALE signs ) you can get it on amazon, or in any discount store or office supply. This first one, I took and had it placed on this board by a shop. But, after I saw how simple it was, I did the next ones by myself , using that board and a can of spray adhesive. It was easy.If you are looking for a relaxing past time, I recommend you try these. You will probably have to buy a few more paint brushes, because you’ll need a few different sizes.

Definitely not for beginners
Was very excited about this until I looked at the pattern... soooo many very very small spots to paint... need magnifying glasses like toy repair guy off of toy story in order to see all the little spaces. Needless to say it went back in the box maybe someday I will attempt.. looked like a easy starter... but definitely not!

The paint was all dried up.
We love the picture, but paint was all dried and we couldn’t use it.

Really Fun Painting
This was my second PBN and it was a lot of fun to paint. I had some challenges with the small, thin lines, but that is inexperience. The colors were good and the paint was in fairly good condition as well. Plenty of paint provided.

Absolutely fantastic - and addictive
Bought this for my son for his birthday. He didn't want to do it and am very glad he didn't because I wouldn't have liked to share! It's so much fun, totally addictive and actually quite challenging even for a 40-something! It also took a surprising amount of time to complete but that made it even more satisfying. The quality of the kit is superb Lovely canvas, bright coloured paints that go on really nicely and some really fine brushes that let you paint even the tinier spaces with accuracy.Really relaxing to do and so much fun that I've bought another one to complete. A fantastic lockdown activity.

Very Therapeutic and fun to do
this arrived promptly, i was looking for something to do during Lockdown, this absolutely fitted the bill!great colours, good size painting, easy to follow, detailed and Very Therapeutic to sit and paint while waiting for Covid-19 to get lost, in fact this is an activity to get lost in and feel good! have finished the painting, took about a week to 10 days, then i placed it in a picture frame to display, my family love it, and i have bought several more during lockdown to do (see photo), all great fun, peaceful activity. when more become available i will purchase, but as so many people are staying home there is a shortage of these paintings, so will be patient and keep checking amazon for new stock! Great Activity would definitely recommend, even for newbie artists, this is easy, so enjoyed it!update - have done 3 of these colourful paintings now, see picture, apologies for reflection on glass, its hung in a room where the sunshines!

Great
This is a great picture I love it , I must admit it's more intricate than I thought it would be , as I'm a beginner it's a little fiddly to do tiny little bits , but it wont put me off . Only one niggle , the picture comes folded in the pkt , its says you can iron it out , I've tried with a hot iron and the creases dont fully iron out , shame really .

Beautiful set- just need the space and time to finish!
My friends and I- me in the UK, 3 in the US- were all able to purchase this same set. The elephant motif and colour scheme, as well as the price, appealed to us all. I was pleasantly surprised by the (larger) size of the canvas, and it is proper canvas. Once I actually complete it, I'll definitely look to frame or mount it properly.I wouldn't advise for beginners, as there are actually lots of really small areas, that are difficult to paint even with the smaller brushes. Great value for money though, as the size is good and accessories are exactly what's needed. You do not need to be an artist to complete this, but you will need to make sure you have access to space, and time to get it done! My friends and I began it together on a Zoom video call- so this would work for a paint night with friends or colleagues! Again, timing is the main issue here. :)
