Works as Advertised!
Wanted to have a security light to detect motion ~ 50 feet from house. After setting it up it seemed to want to just turn on all the time for "nothing" of interest.A neighbor had indicated that it took him several tries to adjust his sensor (different unit) to stop seeing trees and unwanted motion.OK, let sort this out.The first thing sorted is that this unit senses anything in a 180 degrees arc. (ie: a straight line parallel to the mounting surface with the sensor pointed straight). Solution was to put a "IR Blinder" on the side of the sensor facing the neighbor. Only wanted a 60 degree sector anyway . My blinder was nothing more that a simple piece of scrap mahogany fixed to the side. Stopped seeing the unwanted motion. Success #1.Still noticed that the lights would go to full brightness more than desired. Ended up putting a laser pointer under the sensor unit to "see" where it was really pointed. The sensor was pointed way too high. Was seeing motion and lights from further than desired. Repositioned the sensor. Success #2!Result: Works exactly as intended! The Good:- Really like the dual light mode. At night, the unit will stay on "low power mode" until motion is detected and then go to full power.- Really bright, does a good job.- Easy install. Two wires and earth ground. Took more time to get the ladder than complete. Went right into existing wall junction box utilizing the provide bracket (needed as the mounting is via a screw into the center). The Not So Good:- Set up was more than anticipated. Yes, this maybe an operator related perspective.- No Real "Test Mode" (that I was able to find). Yes, there is a red light in the sensor that momentarily turns red when motion is sensed. This is different than a red led that stays on when motion is sensed. If one has a helper, this is an non-issue. However, not applicable in this case.- Minor point, the ability to point the actual light is somewhat limited. To get a narrow light filed, had effectively turn one light vertical to be able to point it where desired. Just looks somewhat fully on seeing one light horizontal and one vertical. Would be a nice thing to have another movable joint in the connection arm.Conclusion:- Good Product. Works exactly as expected. Time will tell how well the lights do with rain and moisture. Especially with one being vertical.- Setup takes time. This sensor senses motion in a semicircle at the selected distance. If the desired detection range is clear for the complete semicircle, good to go. If a smaller sector is desired, or something unwanted is within the desired detection range, then something needs to be done to help limit the sensor's field of view. Would believe that this is function of the total sensor range (note this unit is greater than most). How many installations have a 70 foot radius from the installation point without unwanted objects or people? (Believe that most of the available motion sensing units have a detection distance of about 25 feet).Hope this is viewed as positive and on-going.

Arrived DOA. "Dim" is insanely bright.
We were replacing another auto-dim security light because we need the auto-dim feature (a low light on all night that would go bright on motion detection). But this is not anything like what we had before. This goes from crazy-bright to insanely, blindingly-bright an motion (or apparently on thought of motion or not). We ordered 2, planning to install them in two locations. Both arrived with no packing or shipping protection and rattling around inside their retail boxes. One of them arrived DOA (of course, this was figured out by installing it). After replacing it with the other one (which, luckily works) we have been fiddling and fiddling with it to try to dial in the motion detection. Still hoping to get that right. Returned the broken one and will find something better for that other location.

Don't buy for motion detection!
Not sure why this product got such a high rating. I installed it on the side of my house along a pathway and it didn't light up until I was practically under it, even though I had it on maximum sensitivity. I even tried to change it to minimum sensitivity thinking maybe I wasn't understanding the directions, then I changed the angle of the sensor several times, but all these fixes didn't help. I finally had to change it to "Dim" mode (which really isn't 20%, more like 70%) which leaves the light partially on all the time.

Works Great!
Bought a motion detector LED from the local hardware store at 2-3 times the price of this unit a couple of years ago and it failed within a few months and was inconsistent in motion detection. This one was easy to install, adjust and lights up the driveway and front of our house. Performs well and looks good.

Excellent product
I recently purchased this security lighting unit (for the garage) and needless to say, I was and am still duly impressed! These two LED lamps are blindingly bright! The motion sensor range is really sensitive and very adjustable. The instructions are pretty well written (in English). Installation was a breeze (since the house wiring was already there). A Good value for the money spent.

The DIM feature is bad - misleading listing
Hello all, I'm really disappointed with this lamp. First, it's the same as other lamps that being sold on Amazon, but this company charge almost double. Second, the motion detection is really bad, he will recognize that when you in front of the lamp and really not fr (and I change the setting to be very sensitive), and the 3rd thing and the most important one, I bought it because of the DIM option, and I can tell you that this feature performs really poor. As you can check in the pictures that I took, the difference between the dim to Tthe not dim is just 20%-30%, so basically the lamp is on all night... Make yourself a favor and buy something else.

Stopped working after one year
This item was working just fine for a year then suddenly stopped working. I tried everything I could find online for fixing it without replacing the unit. No luck.
