I just received this item today and after installation I must say I'm impressed. The short ram isnt all that loud like some people mention. The only time you can really notice it is when you floor it which reminds me of the old quadrojets from 20 years ago. I did notice a more responsive feel to it which is hard not to notice. In my opinion I feel the most noticable difference in more pep is mid range from 50-80mph. I have not had it long enough to say my opinion on whether or not gas mileage got better or worse, but I will let everybody know in a week.Ok.....I have had several tanks of gas since I posted last and everytime I ran the tank down to where the gas light came on. I have a 2002 Honda Civic ex coupe 5 spd, and I got on average 27.3 miles per tank extra so this not only gives your car more power, but it also gives your car better gas mileage...Driving the car normal I was able to get 522.1 miles on one full tank of gas. Thank you K&N for a great product, and thank you Amazon.com for saving me money and safely getting my product to me quickly.

K&N has always made awesome equipment! This was my first cold air/ram kit that I purchased from K&N and it was incredibly easy to install. The entire removal of my old air intake assembly & installation of the K&N short ram kit took about 30 min. I've definitely noticed a slight improvement in my pickup & acceleration on highway on-ramps, I have also noticed a slight improvement in my overall fuel economy (approx. 1-2 mpg avg.) K&N made another solid product that does exactly what it's supposed to do.Another note, there's no noticeable increase in engine compartment noise unless I'm putting my foot down on the on-ramp. Don't let the statements that it makes your car sound loud scare you. I'm in sales & need to be able take customer phone calls. I wouldn't have installed it if I thought it was going to interfere.Best/Most cost effective bolt-on improvement you can get for a Honda Civic! Get one if you don't have one already!

I have had this product for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. It in creases horsepower and makes the car sound a lot meaner. Had a little bit of trouble because it didn't know with the rubber garment for the sensor like it was supposed to and the hose was really hard to get on but other than that it was pretty straight forward! just an over all great quality product!

took me less than half hour to uninstall factory components and install the unit. fits perfectly. i am glad did not cheap out and go for ebay kits because i am sure those have fitment issues. order from canada and picked up in the states. saved in shipping and taxes close to $50 dollars.

4 stars sounds fair, over priced, but defiantly feels better on the pedal! Rides smoother, sounds great after 4rmps on 2nd gear, can't really say much on Gas saver because I'm always flooring it, but will leave more feedback if my opinion changes because of any pros or cons

Decently priced for a k&n system.Doe sent make much noise till 4k rpm but the torque is almost instant!

The product was for my sons birthday, and once opened the product was damaged in two places, where it can't be used..... Very disappointing
