UPDATE: Battery life is pretty weak. I've been wearing it to drive my daughter to school in the morning -- a 7 min drive each way in the morning. On a full charge it didn't last the entire week. I left this morning with a full charge, 15 minutes later, the indicator lights show a 20% drainage. I'm going to try another brand and buy a vest. Apparently the hubby couldn't swing the clubs in the jacket -- at least that's the reason he gives for his score.__________________________________I couldn’t wait till Christmas to give it to my husband for chilly golf days. It comes in its own zippered bag for storage. So the packaging was well above what I’d ever expected. Very nice indeed… especially for a gift. We fired it right up and it got nice and toasty quickly. The jacket is really nice! Good looking and sporty. He will be the best dressed and warmest of his golf buddies. So far, highly recommend! If the battery life isn’t great or it falls apart, I’ll come back and let you know; however, it doesn’t look like it will. I’m gonna wear it to hang Christmas decorations!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. It fits great and looks good on. And best of all, it heats up really quickly and stays warm for quite a while. The battery pack is somewhat heavy, but he's ok with that. The battery fits nicely in a front inside pocket. I did a lot of research and this one seems to be a great choice. Very happy with it.

Without heating, this jacket is surprisingly warm and comfortable. It's thicker than you'd expect for a light jacket. The cuffs have an extra layer that closes in at the wrists to keep drafts out. The inner lining is soft and more importantly slick--which, if you've tried to take off a coat while sitting in the car and wearing a sweater under it, you will appreciate.Even on high, the heating element--while pleasant and noticable--really isn't up to the job on a even a mildly cold day. Ever stood facing away from the sun and felt it warming your back? That's exactly what this jacket feels like: a light pleasant touch, but not really *heat*. The heated collar is nice, true, but overall the jacket is best for taking the edge off a cool day; it's not enough for a cold one.Part of this might be the fit. I'm average-build and bought a medium, which fits in all dimensions just great *except* around the stomach, where it's just sloppy: I could weigh 300lb and still fit in here fine. I'd like to try a Small to get a better around-the-middle fit, but I don't want the arms to be any shorter.I could not find a replacement battery pack for this jacket. Tried one mentioned in reviews, and it absolutely does not work.

These clothes are sized quite big. I usually wear a men's medium, but I bought a small and it fit very well (40 inch chest). The jacket is cut about what I'd expect, not loose or too snug. I had purchased the Arris electric vest (wish I hadn't), the price for this jacket was very close to the Arris and everything about the Venture Heat is obviously better quality. The jacket is very nice all by itself, nylon shell, felt liner. Heat comes on very quickly and is uniform without having any hot spots. UPDATE: I have used this jacket while the weather has been cold and it's a very good jacket overall. My one complaint is that the battery sticks me in the rib when I sit down. Walking / working is no problem. I'd rather have had the battery pocket in the kidney area.

I've only had the jacket for a day, but seems to heat well, fit right and came in a neat little package. The next day shipping was awesome as well. I plan on using it this weekend and into next week while sitting in my deer stand. Only concern I have is the charging time of the battery. I asked and the response was 6 hours - hopefully this one goes a little quicker.11.13.2019 - following up to my prior review. I had on a long underwear shirt, a light hooded sweatshirt, this jacket and my hunting jacket. The temp when I got into my truck last night was at 3 degrees above zero. I got to my stand around 1:30 in the afternoon and sat until 4:40 ish. Jacket was on the low setting. Never once did my torso get chilled or was I shivering! I wore the jacket 4 nights and was awesome. Ran into another hunter who was talking about the cold, had him feel the inside of the jacket and he said he would be getting one.I just upgraded the jacket to a 5 star. And, the battery did take a while to recharge, but since that took place over night, I have no idea how long that takes to fully charge.

I liked that it was warm even without turning it on.

Just used for first. Battery lasted longer than I expected and the jacket appears to be good quality. I'm 5'9 with athletic build and I have the option to wear under another coat if I want which makes it even warmer (motorcycle riding). I purchased a second battery to enjoy the heating longer. Battery pack is small and simply recharges with included USB-c cable.I'd like the mobile app to be able to estimate battery life when changing heat level.
