I was previously using a cheap IKEA cushion over my chair, but it was giving me a lot of lower back pain. I decided to buy this cushion because of the price point, and I'm very pleasantly surprised with it! It's a lot firmer and harder than I had anticipated, but that's actually turned out ideal. I no longer think about my back pain, because in the two days that I've had it, no pain. And, I work from home at my desk 10+ hours a day!

Since the cushion is meant to serve people with backache problems it should be of hard kind and not press down easily with usage. The cushion is too soft and did not serve my purpose.

Being accustomed to memory foam (beds, other cushions etc.), this is not at all what I expected. As hard a wood. With an absolutely non-ergonomic surface. I do not recommend that cushion.

This was a lot softer than i thought it would be. It was firm and was memory foam. I enjoyed it, sometimes i use it as a pillow to be honest.

Got it for mother 93 years old. Very comfortable, she lives it.

This is my second seat cushion I bought and I can say it feels the same as the other I have which has 700+ reviews. The memory foam is pretty much the same. I bought a second seat cushion because I bought a new gaming chair. I think the only big difference I see between the two cushions is that this one doesn't have the logo on it. This Mastery Mart cushion's quality is very good.

I sit a lot for my work so I do get a lot of back pain and sore bottom. There hasn't been a chair I've had that eliminates such problems. So I decided to just purchase a foam coushion separately to address the issue and boy was that a good decision! At first the foam seem a bit hard but not only it's memory foam but it's fast to learn, you feel quite comfortable moments after you sit on it and you basically just melt into it. But it's firm enough to support you. I like that there are grips designed on it and that the cover is washable. Overall I am glad I found this product and think that a lot of people who also sit a lot for work can benefit from it.

Okay so I bought this weeks ago and wanted to test out the product for a bit before reviewing. I am very skinny so I don't have much cushion anywhere. I work an office job and wanted more support for my tailbone and what not and this cushion did the trick. Super comfy and the bottom has those dots so it doesn't slip around. I would totally recommend this for the people who want their bums to be comfy all day long.

I sit for long hours and this memory foam cushion is very comfortable and relieved my lower back soreness even if I've been sitting for couple of hours. The foam provides a solid base with some soft cushioning that remembers the shape of your sit. It comes with rubber sole on the bottom to prevent the cushion from moving. Great buy!

This is terrible. Received a couple of weeks ago now. Someone’s review said to leave it a few days to soften up. It didn’t. It’s rock hard and unbelievably uncomfortable. It’s also considerably smaller than any seat you may put it on. I’m short and petite and it’s too small for me. Don’t think this is memory foam either, it’s so hard and has zero give in it. Other sized people in my home have tried it too & it’s the same situation, except maybe my 10yr old girl but too hard for her. Do not waste your money.

This is for those who prefer firm memory foam. When it first came out from the packaging, it was folded and wrinkled at the middle. I was a little worried then but it slowly rose into shape after a couple of hours. It has a velvety cover, feels good to the touch but may get a little too warm in hot weather. The antislip grips on the bottom doesn't really work on the wood surface but it does work on desk chair with a fabric surface.

Anyone who sits for long periods of time should be concerned with their ergonomics. Not every solution is right for everyone, but if this type of device would help you, this is a decent option to consider. Foam is firm and supportive, yet gives enough to provide a molded softness. Grippy bits on the bottom help it stay in place.

Our department moved to a new office space and the chairs there are different (and uncomfortable)! I tried the cushion for a week and I no longer feel the stress in my lower back while working. The cushion is firm, and it allows me to have a good posture while sitting in front of the computer for hours.

I suffer with back pain, sciatica, tailbone pain. This cushion has made my office chair more comfortable.

What the heck?? It was as hard as a rock! You might as well sit on a wooden bench. I had to return it. I had read the reviews and thought it was the best choice.... Nope

Sitting on it for just a few minutes was painful. The pillow id hard and stiff and just poor quality.

As a software developer, I sit in a chair at my desk nearly all day, so I need good support or my lower back starts to ache. Lately, I have been thinking that I need a new office chair, but then I saw some advertisements for chair cushions that were supposed to distribute your weight better and reduce possible back pain, so I thought I would try that first (saves a ton of money vs. buying a new chair!) This cushion seems to be really great so far. It was comfortable from the first use. The material is actually kind of plush, which I wasn’t expecting, but it has a non-slip backing on it so that it doesn’t scooch around if you move your chair in and out from your desk. I can also take the cushion with me to the kitchen chairs for meals which has been a real help, too. As an added bonus (for me anyway), it adds a couple inches of height to the kitchen chairs, which are a little too short for the table that we have.
