Benjara Contemporary Style Wooden Frame Twin Size Chest Bed with 3 Drawers, White

I have 4 kids and they were all due a new mattress. So...I bought 4 of these. They arrived much sooner than I expected and were in great shape. They come with the air all sucked out of them in a box you would never expect to have a mattress. When you cut them free (be careful not to cut the mattress - said in my best mom voice) they start to fluff up. They claim to need 48 hours to be full size, but ours were ready in just a couple of hours or less. My children range from 10 -19 and all 4 raved about the mattress the next morning. Two used it with no boxspring (one of those had it on a traditional frame and one had it on a solid frame - i.e. no slats but one solid piece). One of the others put it on top of the old mattress which was on a box spring and the fourth put it on a box spring (like a normal person). All were pleased. They have had them for over a month and still love them, so they must be ok. Much better than the old spring mattresses they were using.

Truly one of the worst pieces of furniture I’ve ever put together. Difficult install. Flimsy. Looks cheap. If I could have gotten it back into the box I would have returned it in a heartbeat. One side of the bed wouldn’t go together, even with three adults pushing and pulling and turning the little hex wrench. So I duct taped the corner together and that side sits against the wall. And the flat piece that covers the frame and holds the mattress is little more than cardboard. I’m not joking. It comes as one flat sheet, folded into three pieces, with warning labels not to bend, stand on, or otherwise damage. And I understand why. It’s not even press board. It’s some weird hybrid that is 1/4” thick. And that is holding up the mattress. My 75 pound daughter leaned on the bed as we were putting it together and almost went through the cardboard piece. The bed has lasted 11 months and shows signs that it won’t be much longer before we need to trash it. It creaks when the now 85 pound child rolls over. The corner that couldn’t stay together has had to be retaped and clamped together (the mdf is too thin to try drilling into). And the drawers no longer pull out straight.

This does NOT come with the cubbies in the picture. This is stated in the description but the picture is misleading IMO. Both beds we purchased had broken pieces, probably during shipping but the box and pieces are long and hard to maneuver into the house.

We like it! But some of the pieces were broken. However, they did work with me to get the pieces! So all and all, all was good!

The saying "you get what you pay for" couldn't be more true with this bed. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for a better quality bed. I regret buying this one.

So I bought this for my mother. Couple things. I thought it came with a headboard with shelving, it doesn't. The drawers also only extend a 3rd of the way under the bed.The nice part is that after you build the frame and before you put down the slats, you can store stuff that normally would be inaccessible unless you take out the drawers. Not great for everyday, storage but not bad for stuff.Pretty decent just wish it had a head board.

Box was damaged and one slat was broken. No directions were include on how to assemble bed. Have had it for 3 days and it is not put together.

The bed is great but I wish it would have come with the headboard
