Very impressed with how quiet this is even on top speed. Yes it makes a little more noise on fastest, but it's perfectly acceptable. Nothing like my previous fan that sounds like a droning propeller airplane.Easy to set up and stylish/modern mechanism. The lights on the fan dim nicely after 15 seconds so they're not in your face at night while trying to sleep.There are no beeps, bells or whistles, so when you press a button on the fan or remote, it does the task straight away. This is great in the middle of the night.The only downside is the fan blade cover is a bit "same old, same old" and the remote might look stylish from far but looks a bit cheap.You might be thinking I've been on an on about the fan at night - I believe sleep should be sacred.

Initial impressions: well made and simple to put together. It is also very quiet, which is what we were after.

Honestly the best fan I've owned. I struggle to sleep with too much noise around me, and even on the highest setting it's so quiet compared to other rattling fans. It has a timer function and 5 speed settings. The air actually feels cool too, rather than it just pushing hot air around, and you don't have to be close to it to feel it.You can even store the remote on the back of the fan to save losing it! Amazing value.

This fan is really quiet as it said. The air flow is so powerful. It's easy to assemble and really worth for money.

Sceptical to say the least having bought many a fan but ‘hand on heart’ the Honeywell is the Best by far. Solid, Quality and pleasing design, multiple speed options and extremely quiet as it advertises. Remote control, meaning no more getting out of bed to turn a fan up or down, which direction, oscillating or not or on or off and the Timer ‘BONUS’. Size is perfect, even for the smallest of rooms and the overall cost is definitely Value for Money.

Bought to replace a similar fan I’d used for over a decade and was clearly staring to deteriorate. A definite upgrade. Quieter (though not as quiet as some reviews would suggest), more speed settings, more powerful (faster speed) and the bonus of a remote control. Exactly what I was hoping for. Only thing that would make it even better would be if you could turn the rotate function on and off with the remote (which you cannot) but otherwise a super-solid bit of kit that will hopefully last as long as my previous fan. Highly recommended.

Just received and set up. There was a voucher for £15 off, so I didn't pay full price.++++So the good.Easy set up, barely an inconvenience. Took about 10 minutes to put together.Moves a decent amount of air, even in low.Looks nice.----So the bad.No Oscillation control on remote. You can't sit in your spot, wait for the fan to be just right and stop it where it is. Oscillation control is on the fan head.Motor is not quiet, at all. The hum is actually quite loud and could be very annoying to people with noise sensitivity. Imagine a car idling outside, that's the kind of hum you get.If this had been full price, I'd have returned it, as it has a voucher, I'll save it for spare and buy better from a store where I can actually go and listen and test remotes.
