Perfect terrarium for my young ball python. I don’t give out many 5 star ratings, but I can’t imagine anything else I could want from a terrarium.I love the front doors with a built in lock. I love the steel mesh screen top with built in latches and holes in the back for probe cables and humidifier tubing. The raised bottom is great for undertank heater pads; I always have a problem with sticky feet coming off of my other terrariums. It’s well ventilated, but it also holds temperatures and humidity pretty well.I also really like the foam background with grooves for cables and tubing. It’s a lot nicer than the “aquarium wallpaper” stuff though it uses up a little bit of your space. I’m sure my snake likes it as it helps to keep him from feeling exposed, but it is removeable if you don’t need it. That being said, it is a little difficult to take it out and put it back without breaking it as it is made of foam, but all in all, the right fit is a good thing.I was a little worried as I had read some other reviews in which the customer received it cracked or broken. This is always a concern when ordering anything large and made of glass, though this is usually an issue with the shipping and handling more than a product itself. I didn’t have this issue, though. It arrived well packed and in perfect condition.I would highly recommend this terrarium.

This tank is nice! It comes with the foam rock background and it has two opening front doors with a latch that makes it easy to get to your pet. The top also comes off and has 4 lathes to secure it.There is like half inch space under the tank so you can easily slide heating pads underneath.Also there are sliding wire slots on the top of the rear of the lid so you can open the slot wide enough for your cables without being open so crickets can escape.

i purchased this terrarium for a child i mentor thru the church. with that said the closest i care to get to a gecko would be on a gieco tv commercial! it was meant as a christmas gift but do to the circumstances i received an intact unit just yesterday[2/9/17] . the first terrarium the glass front,back,and bottom panes were smashed. ordered a replacement. received the second terrarium opened the top of the shipping box and assessed for damage and didn't notice any. i left the terrarium in the box to avoid any damage while delivering it. it's a heavy item and very bulky. i drive 80 mi. ,round trip, to purchase the gecko and all the items required to make this handsome little critter comfortable. the sales clerk instructed us not to keep the gecko in the transport container any longer than 2hrs. on arrival home we feverishly prepared the recommended tropical setting. during the set up the young boy asked me if i was aware of the broken glass at the right corner under the entry door. i asked the child if he'd ever seen a grown man cry. anyway i contacted amazon ordered a replacement which arrived in just a few days. my wife and i were terrified to open the box. by looking at the condition of the box it seemed like the nightmare would continue! the instruction warnings on the box had obviously been ignored. two of the styrofoam corners used to secure the terrarium had been destroyed and my immediate thought was here we go again! alleluia, the terrarium was intact! i repacked the damaged terrarium , set the new one up,and delivered the return item to ups.all's well that ends well! AMAZON DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN RIGHTING THE PROBLEM. THEIR REP RESPONDED QUICKLY TO INSURE THE CORRECTIVE ACTION WAS TAKEN. THE YOUNG MAN WAS ELATED!! I'LL BE COMPLETELY SATISFIED TO GET NO CLOSER TO A GECKO THAN ON THE GEIIKO COMMERCIAL!!

Its a shame. I know its an excellent product (I have two of their 12x12x12 enclosures that I previously ordered and both arrived in perfect condition). Unfortunately this one arrived with one of the glass doors severely cracked. Im not about to risk putting a pet in it.

Served me well as a Mexican Black Kingsnake owner. He spent about a year in this thing until he recently outgrew it. He never escaped it so that’s good. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is I wish the plastic support beams for the mesh on top had different placement. The way I had to orient overhead heating devices was kind of awkward. Other than that it was awesome and I’ll be selling it on facebook marketplace to another reptile owner who will continue to make great use of it.
