Q: Our door has the pins that go into the top and bottom of the door frame when locked, can this be used with those or is that a different type of lock?

No, I tried this the other day. that latch is different, even if you could get it off. you can not take that latch off and put it on this model, because there are mechanical differences

Q: do you have a electrical version or wifi version compatible so we can control wireless who enters ?

You can install an Adams Rite Steel Hawk 4300 Electrified Deadlatch that would be controlled by a “buzzer” from inside to allow entry. A RTE (Request to Exit) Motion Sensor can be installed on the inside to allow unsupervised egress. This installation would require a transformer and other wiring on order to accommodate the desired result.

Q: do these locks come in shorter lengths

These are common for most current glass store front doors typically you’ll want 1 inch cylinders for 5 pin keys. You can use 1 1/8 for 6 pin keys you may need a spacer or collar that is usually supplied with the mortise cylinder and will need 2 cylinders one for the front of the door and one for the inside of the door unless you choose to use a thumb turn mortise

Q: Can I order multiples and have them keyed-alike?

Cylinders aren’t typically sold with the latch but when you order them you can request they be keyed alike or use a thumb turn mortise on the inside of the door
